The pen is absolutely value for money. I love to with it! The nib though is a bit smaller for my taste, but i still like how sleek and beautiful the nib is! The material of the barrel that is made of copper I guess feels amazing but the plastic quality is very poor especially the threads I wish the feed section was also made of metal.A better quality was expected. The converter is on the cheap side. The inkflow is smooth and wet because of the highly saturated feed. At first the nib felt a bit scratchy,but was ok after writing with it for some time. The weight for me is fine too. Though I highly unrecommend posting the cap at the back as the weight of the cap is more than the entire pen's weight and feels extremely cumbersome to write with it on.Overall my writing experience with this wonderful pen is outstanding. The performance is pretty perfect. The pen all together is a steel of a pen even with some minor cons,just my cup of tea.

The pen is exquisite. I bought a pair, one in blue and other in black. Ink flow is also perfect. Feels heavy on the hand, exactly the way I wanted it.

This pen is not a single piece as shown in the image. On receipt of the product I came to know the pen is with a separate cap. I want to exchange it ....pls inform concerned to call me as I'm not able to find my option in the return policy....

Its built design someway let u hold the pen in a comfortable fashion giving the well required confidence to write well with a fountain pen, which i found lacking in many relatively costlier n premium pens. Further, nice consistent ink flow couple with solid medium nib help in a wonderful writing experience. Having said the above, build quality could have been little better.

Well, first and foremost, the pen does not cost rupees 6941, as advertised here in Amazon, the mrp of the pen Is 2500, as printed on the box that comes with this pen, so a very fake offer to start with.Coming to the pen,This model of sheaffer 300, is cosmetically appealing , while it falls only in the category of a beginner fountain pens.the body of the pen is made of metal, while the section is made of plastic. The weight of the pen is bit on the heavier side and the cap alone is heavier than the body itself , hence not at all suitable for writing, posted. However , the weight feels quite comfortable, while writing unposted. Overall it is a cigar shaped, cartridge - converter type pen, which comes with two cartridges and a converter included. Needless to say the quantity of the ink in the converter will be small, however the empty cartridges can be filled with ink by syringes , which holds almost a ml of ink, which is a very decent amount.Coming to the cost of this pen, well people who are well versed with fountain pens do know that this is a very starting price range when it comes to fountain pens. So it is actually a very affordable one out there. And there are better options in this price range than this pen.The nib is a steel medium nib of European standard, which tends to write on a finer side than a true medium. It's an average performer. Gives a lot of feedback and also tends to feel scratchy. The nib also runs on a drier side if you do not fill it with an ink with great flow for example diamine inks , mine has the Sheaffer blue black in it and behaves quite mixed , though sometimes wet, but mostly on the driver side.Overall, the pen does it's job only as a fountain pen for the beginners. Given its better appearance and being a product of one of the renowned brands out there, it definitely falls short in many aspects, definitely in terms of writing pleasure. So overall an average pen in terms of performance.A lamy Safari and a pilot metropolitan are legendary in this price range and and are well deserved to be so, and definitely are better than this product from sheaffer.

Love it. I like the weighted feel of the pen. Gives me more control over it.

I've tried other brands of fountain pens - less expensive, but in the end you get what you pay for - smooth, even flow, a quality writing instrument!

This is a beautiful pen in the Scheaffer tradition of quality product. Substantial in size and weight it is a great example of good style and manufacture
