Very good product
Very good, there is no too much shine, leaves hair soft and with good texture. There is no scent which I think is great.its functional and you do not need to use a lot so it last for a while. Not sure how it works in terms of hair type but my husband has thick/medium.I do his hair and it hold good.

Best stuff for my hair
I'm a Hispanic male with wavy, thick, dry frizzy hair. My haircut is short on the sides 1-2 guard with a scissor cut on the top. About an inch and a half in length. I have to say, since I've been using hair products (since I was 12, I'm 24 now) this is the only one that I'll buy consecutively. I've tried quite a few products, AC fiber, AC pomade, AC molding clay, AC gel, AC texture lotion, defi pomade, axe, whatever paste, axe spiking glue, short sexy hair wax and frenzy, redken maneuver wax, and several other gels/pomades/wax/paste. This by far is the best I've found. Ive had some success with other products some that seemed to work for a while then I realized it just didn't give me the look I wanted, which is why I waited so long to do a review on this product. I wanted to make sure I actually liked it, instead of convincing myself that I did because it was kind of expensive. I don't even want to know how much I've spent trying to find a good product. I've gone through several trends from messy hair to a side part. For the most part now I do an informal side part. This product can do both pretty well. The problem I've had with most products is there is either not enough hold, too thick, or matte products that make my hair look dry with no visible texture or separation. This has a little bit of shine. Which is great for my hair since it is very black and sometimes dry and frizzy. It's important that you try different ways of putting this into your hair. Takes a bout a little less than a dime size amount for my hair and make sure to rub into your fingertips very well. For me, wetting my hair pretty thoroughly first, then towel drying works best. If I put it in dry it doesn't do as much. Sometimes I put it in dry just to give my hair a little more texture. This stuff has great hold, and it seems to get better through the day. I find that if I fix it, go to work and by the time I'm done I can mess it up a little for a casual look and it still looks great. I can't say enough about this product. However this is my experience, I've tried products that others have raved about that just did not work for me. Hopefully this will work for you and you can save some money instead of buying the wrong stuff only to toss it in a couple of months. I use this almost every day and it's lasted several months. I will be buying again.

Two thumbs up!
First off, mair hair texture is straight and a little fine, but I have a lot of it (meaning it appears very thick); think Johnny Depp type of hair. So if you have my hair type, I can say this product will for sure work for you.A great matte finish, strong hold product. Best styling clay I’ve tried so far!!BUT! Because it is so strong it can leave the hair feeling oily after several hours of wear do to the combining of your scalps build up of oils throughout the day and the wax in the product. This is a product you have to wash out each night with shampoo. This is how most super strong hold products are though!! ESPECIALLY clay. Nothing to worry about, just the way clay and a lot of waxes are. If that bothers you look for water-based products rather than wax based. But keep in mind those natural waxes are good for your hair! When I come across a clay that somehow manages to come up with the magic that is super strong and washes out easy I’ll give it a five star, I know it’s out there somewhere. Conclusion!! Worth it, I’ve been hooked on it for about 6 months now, great product. Two thumbs up for Baxter.

Great Hold and Matte Finish!!
Baxter of California Clay Pomade is a game-changer for my hair routine! The firm hold keeps my style in place all day, and the matte finish looks natural without any shine. It works great for both straight and wavy hair, providing texture and control without feeling greasy. The 2-ounce jar lasts a long time, and just a little bit goes a long way. It’s easy to apply, and I love how it keeps my hair looking fresh and styled. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable pomade!

My personal favorite hair styling product
I’ve been using Baxter’s Hair Pomade for years, and it’s hands down the best product for keeping my hair in place without the greasy feel. It provides just the right amount of hold for styling, and no matter how long my day is, my hair stays exactly where I want it.What I love most is that it doesn’t leave any heavy or oily residue, which is a common issue with other pomades I’ve tried in the past. It gives a natural finish, and my hair feels soft, not weighed down or stiff. If you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting pomade that keeps your hair in check without that greasy look, Baxter’s is the way to go. I’ve been loyal to it for years and can’t imagine using anything else. Highly recommend!
