I don’t know much about all the different kinds of jeweler cleaning products available, I just needed a quick way to clean several pieces of silver jewelry I had purchased for my wife over the years when I noticed her silver neck, wrist, and ankle chains had become very dull. While I always made sure to buy only high-content silver jewelry and not cheap silver plate, these still had become dull in appearance.Being basically lazy, I wanted something advertised that would not require doing lots of rubbing or polishing, and this product fits the bill for no effort cleaning. You just open the screw top, lift up the interior plastic basket, drop in the jewelry, lower back down, shake the basket a few times, then wait.While I’m sure the time will vary based on how dingy the jewelry looks, the multiple times I used this cleaner I only waited about 5 minutes with great results! I suggest having the cleaning next to a sink so you can rinse off the cleaning solution as soon as you remove the item from the cleaner and dry quickly. While you may be able to use this product for other metals, this is advertised as a “silver” cleaner and that is exactly what it does and does it well.

Cleans great, looks nice 3 days after cleaning, I recommend it. It’s very quick, and very effective my ring hasn’t been cleaned much I’ve had it for 4 years and I lotion my hands daily. The amount of shine that came back is insane. My mom used to use this cleaner on her ring years ago, and now I see why! I love it. I also had my necklace fixed and the jewelers left some sort of burnt substance after sauntering it, the cleaner cleaned off the extra substance and my necklace looks brand new. I’d recommend this over going to a jewelers to constantly clean your jewelry.

Update from original review: When I first used the product as directed it didn't clean a few of my fashion jewelry, which led me to using soap, stainless steel pad, and water to clean them! I almost threw this product away BUT after soaking some rings overnight, IT WORKS! Yayyyyyy

To be honest, I was trying this as a last effort because I thought the cleaner would be able to seep in and get into the details.I have a lot of pewter & silver jewelry. The product didn't ruin anything but it didn't work on any of the silver pieces leaving them tarnished. The pewter parts however were gleaming better than new. Luckily I am a beader and can easily swap out the tarnished parts for new ones.I nearly purchased the silver specific but this bottle also lists it as for silver so I took a chance that just didn't pan out.

This product does the bet job of cleaning. I was reluctant to purchase this because I had used the same cleaner for years.This does a great job and leaves every piece of jewelry clean and looking freshly polished. Will definitely switch to this product from now on.

I use this to clean my gold chains and gemstones. It cleans very nicely, leaving the pieces shiny. I wish the included brush was wider, it’s not the greatest to clean a chain with but the brush works well in pendants and rings.

This product does NOT clean silver jewelry as described. I ordered 2 and opened one and sending other back. I would send both but opened the one. I gave it to a friend for cleaning her costume pieces. I want happy with it except for the fact I could give to a friend.
