A corn LED bulb works great in a 3-way lamp.
I used one to replace a 3-way lamp bulb whose maximum output is 150 watts. The 150 watt corn bulb is noticibly brighter than the old encandecent bulb. I like the sun white color better than that of the old bulb. I like the design of the corn bulb that places a number of LED all around the bulb so that it illuminates in all directions evenly.

Compact and generous light
Good light in a compact form. I used these to replace the lightbulb in a garage door motor. The lightbulbs I had didn't fit well, but these one fit in well.

Very bright candelabra bulb
I actually meant to order the larger style of bulb for my other lamps, but I am definitely keeping these. We're a family that suffers every year as the days get shorter. We've learned from experience that it's worth the effort to change to extra bright bulbs at this time of yearThis picture is taken in front of a sunny window and I can still tell the lamp is lit. Normal bulbs make all those white sections glow a warm orange.It's taken my cute little novelty lighting and turned it into a fully functional lamp that I could read by. I might buy more cute little lamps in the future, now that I know how to make them more than just decorative..

360 Degree Illumination
I use these in the motion detection porch lanterns. VERY bright, and 360 degree LED placement send high intensity illumination EVERYWHERE. Thank you.

Works fine but not quite as bright as I hoped for.
Works fine but not quite as bright as I hoped for compared to the halogen bulbs. But it it uses only 5 percent of the energy and radiates almost no heat.

Very Bright - While They Lasted
I only used two of a four-pack, with the other two as backups. That's a good thing. The first two were exceptionally bright for almost eight months, then they both died within a few days of each other. One went very dim, and the other went completely out. The package says they are guaranteed for 18 months. Not so much.Now, I'll see how long the backups last. The previous corn row lights lasted over six years. Unfortunately, that brand is no longer available.

These cob bulbs really brighten our den. Much better than the previous LED’s.
