I like doing time lapses at night, these are very important to keep unwanted light from entering eye piece while shooting time lapse shots.. They are cheap, fit well on both D3200 and D5500 nikons, even fit my old N2000 slr 35mm film camera... Shipped fast, can't complain about anything.

The media could not be loaded. Loved it! Arrived on time and in perfect condition!Ideally this part should come with the camera kit. But apparently, Nikon USA doesn't sell the viewfinder cover along with the camera. But this product from Amazon is a perfect fit for my Nikon D3400 and also good for my budget! I have attached a video on how to use this viewfinder cover. Please refer to that in case you have doubts on how to use this. The viewfinder cover is extremely essential while clicking pictures in the Self timer mode or Time/Bulb mode (long exposures). Otherwise, light gets in through the viewfinder and spoils the picture.Also, I love the fact that this product is sold in packs of 2 by Amazon. Because this is a very small part, there is a high risk of losing this and it is always a good idea to keep a spare!!

Fit perfectly as described.

I got these caps so that I can use my DSLR for Astrophotography and not have to worry about stray light coming in from the eyepiece since I won't be viewing through it during the exposures. Works perfectly and as expected.

I bought these to replace the original item that came with my Nikon. They fit perfectly and do the job for a reasonable price. If you have lost your eyepiece cap, this is a good option.

I do lots of long exposure photography (mostly astro photography), this eyepiece shutter will stop any errant light from entering and skewing the exposure.Useful for my purpose. Bought these as an extra, since they are easy to misplace. The quality is similar to the one provided by Nikon.

Es tal cual se ve en las imagenes, y es perfecto para proteger el visor ocular, ya que por el pueden colarse particulas de polvo que terminan aderidas dentro de la cámara y luego es muy dificil de eliminar ya que incluso podriamos dañar la cámara, aunque no afecten a las imagenes que tomemos, si son molestas, ya que cuando se usa el visor, siempre están presentes.
