I live in a heavily wooded area that is an absolute haven for all sorts of bugs, including mosquitoes! Bugs have ruined many backyard gatherings for me and my family, but we like sitting outside and hate to wear bug spray. Consequently, I decided to give the bug zapper a try. It works much better than I thought it would! The bugs seem to be attracted to the blue light, especially at night. It effectively zaps all manner or flying insects, from wasps to moths to mosquitoes. It has significantly reduced the number of bug bites we’ve all gotten on summer nights, and therefore increased our ability to enjoy outdoor gatherings. I love this zapper so much that I purchased them for some family members, who hate bugs even more than I do! It’s very light weight, making it easy to travel with or move to an area of higher bug activity. It is easy to clean out the trap when it fills up with bugs. It is quite durable. It’s impossibly simple to use: just plug it in and let it do its magic!

Within the first night, I noticed a huge drop in the number of mosquitoes buzzing around. It’s like a tiny lightning storm of vengeance every few seconds.I wouldn’t say it covers a full ½ acre (unless you live on a postage stamp), but it’s doing a solid job covering my patio and pool deck. I used to get bit three times just walking outside — now I can sit a few feet away from this thing and not feel like an all-you-can-eat buffet.👍 What I like:• Works straight out of the box — plug and zap.• Lightweight, hangs anywhere (as long as you have an extension cord — the cord is criminally short).• No chemicals, no gross smells, and no pet drama from pesticide-killed bugs.• Satisfying clean-up tray with a little brush (a little gross, a little rewarding).• Plastic housing may look cheap, but at least it won’t rust out in Florida humidity.• The sound. Omg, the sound. Music to my itchy ears. Oh so satisfying.👎 A few things to note:• It’s not super bright like my last zapper — we’ll see if that matters long-term.• You’ll still want repellent on hand — bugs will still fly around you, but not like before. They’re way less interested in me now. (Bug karma??)• Cord is short AF. Like… did they think I was going to hang it from my ankle?Bottom line: It may not be fancy, but it works, it zaps, and it brings me joy. Just hang it, plug it in, and wait for the fireworks.

So far this bug zapper is doing its job. It does not skip a beat if there are any intruding mosquitoes or moths. It’s right there zapping them away. The base is pretty sturdy and it’s weighted enough that the storm doesn’t blow it over because we don’t have any thing to hang it from so it sits on our wood steps that goes outside

This bug zapper is FANTASTIC! We put it right outside our backdoor, and it's been great at keeping the flies away. We've noticed a huge improvement. It works overtime and needs a raise!!!! It's not hard to clean either. Excellent product for the money.
