Works as advertised

It fits my 5.5 Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer (Model KSM55SJSXMI) that I got from Sam’s Club. I love it. It’s a perfect fit. The manual that came with it says that it’s for 5/5.5/6/7 Qt Bowl Lift KitchenAid Stand Mixers with Stainless Steel Bowl, EXCEPT model numbers 5KPM5, 5K5, 4KSM5, 5K5SS, 5KSM5, 5KSM50, 5KSM500, 5KSM6573, KG25, 3KSM5, 9KSM5 and 5KSM450.It came within days. Working and fits

I have a bowl lift KitchenAid stand mixer. I was uncertain what to expect when I ordered this. It fits snuggly on the bowl and does assist it reducing potential splatter and allows you to pour your ingredients in without the accidental bump into the whisk. There is only one hiccup that isn’t necessarily a flaw, but you do need to remove the guard before lowering the bowl. Not a problem, just letting others know what to expect

The part that came in my delivery does not fit the 9.5 inch diameter bowl. Looks like it is made for the tilt up mixers. The description should have the bowl diameter this cover fits. The bowl capacity does not define the diameter of the bowl. KitchenAid has very confusing information on which accessory fits which mixer. In this case specifying the bowl diameter that it fits would solve the problem. It could be a case of putting the wrong cover in the box, but without the bowl diameter you cannot determine that.

This fit my Kitchenaid 5 qt bowl, but this is designed to fit the tilt head style and I didn't catch that prior to ordering so I had to return it as I have the bowl lift style. I like the silicone grips and it seems well made. I ordered another just like this to fit the model of my mixer.
