Works well! Worth the small investment.
Bought these in 2024 for my mom’s place in Florida. She loves them. Soaked up a lot of water from storms that went through and kept her front door area and garage from water coming in. Worth the investment.

Mostly Reliable and Reusable
I rely on these during our geoengineered torrential downpours in San Diego because the sewer drainage is never cleaned out, drains extremely slow, and the water comes into my driveway and right up to my door. I've used these for several years now because the city is deaf to the problems caused by inadequate drainage when it rains, and while I usually have good results with these dams, this year two of them that were in the bucket of 10 didn't inflate at all. That's never happened before.I had leftovers from a previous purchase that I used again. They seem to reinflate without much issue if you dry them out in a shaded area rather than let them dry out completely in the sun. Had it not been for that, I might have known earlier that two of the bags wouldn't inflate and could have sought a remedy through the seller. But regardless, I need to order more because the government does, in fact, geoengineer our weather and we never know for certain what kind of weather we are going to get. It can be pouring down rain and the weather radar map shows no precipitation at all, so it's necessary that I have enough of these on hand at all times.I haven't tried other brands. I would rather buy a product that I know is reliable. I only gave the water dams four stars however since two of the bags were useless. In spite of that, I would still recommend them.

Great way to stop water or absorb it. Just follow the instructions.
These really saved our sun porch from flooding during Hurricane Milton in October 2024! The rain came down so fast we had a "lake" around the back of our house, and these prevented the water from coming in under the door (which is at ground level) or the lower windows (also at ground level). We knew just how great that was, because when we didn't have these in place, we got a lot of water in our sun porch during an earlier storm and it was a huge mess to clean up. I like that you can dry them out and use them again. We just left them out in place to dry out over the "winter" dry months and the are ready for storms again. I don't know how long the covering fabric (non woven, I think) will last in the Florida sun, but we have already ordered another canister to be prepared. Measure the area you need to protect to decide what size and how many you need.

They work great
I love on the down slope of a good size hill and a few times a year when northeastern storms come on the early spring I would get water under my garage door then into my family room. These dams work great this order was me replacing a few workout ones from 3 years ago and I've given a few friends and family to test and they always buy once they see how great they work worth every penny vs soaked carpet sheetrock furniture

Can’t dry out to be reused.
At first I used three long ones to block water that has begun to flood my patio in a hard rain. Shortly after we experienced Francine and lots of rain in Louisiana. Since they were already wet water got past them so I used two new ones and it kept the water from coming into my house. But they all are still wet and heavy. So using these would be pointless because it can’t absorb what it is already full of, namely water. So there has to be a way to get these to dry out. How about it, manufacturer? Please advise or I would want a refund. Thank you for your attention.

It works!
It worked! Helped my neighbor to corral a toilet back-up in the middle of the night. Naturally, I didn’t want it back, so I bought a replacement. Because you never know when you’re going to need it!

A diaper for your house
Works well like a sandbag. We live in Hurricane prone Florida and this has saved us quite a bit of cleaning up. They are not reusable no matter what they say. They are very effective once
