Switch operates auxiliary plug (back side of strip)
This is a well-made power strip that has a unique feature that I haven't seen on these types of power strips. There is a push button that also controls (on/off) another auxiliary plug on the underside of the strip. There are a total of (4) 110v (3)prong outlets (2) on the top face and (2) under the desk/table/countertop or mounting surface one of the underside plugs is the switch controlled and the other is a passthrough type (so you don't lose an outlet on the wall plug.) The top also has a USB A and a USB c plug. I installed this on a desk top and have a cooling fan under the desk (to ventilate the CPU) that I plug into the switched outlet. Installation was straight forward and there was a template for cutting the correct sized hole in the mounting surface.
