Q: How easy is it to clean?

Fairly easy, the pen has a simple smooth build so cleaning it should not be a hastle, allowing ink to be easily wiped away from any unwanted area on the pen.

Q: Would these bleed through pages in a composition book? I ask because the paper is thinner than printer paper

That is an excellent question. By "composition book", I'm guessing you mean the smaller, thread-bound books w/ a paperboard cover? If you aren't a "heavy" writer, these wouldn't bleed through; however, many of these composition books today are made from recycled paper and do tend to be thinner, so it depends on the finish. If the paper has a dull look, then most likely, there will be bleed-through; if it is slightly shiny/glossy, you should be fine. Some of my students do have some viewable marks if they write on the back of the paper. (So very sorry for the delayed response!)

Q: can these be used with spirograph?

I’m not sure, but my guess is no. The ink is liquid and smears until it’s had a chance to dry.
