Using this in conjunction with self-adhesive rubber soles to make leather-soled shoes more grippy. Done several pairs now and they are holding up well. Just have to make sure all the edges are glued down tight and nothing is flapping about. Even used on a small leather tear on the vamp to glue the leather back together - extremely sparingly on a dark coloured leather, managed to make it work too, so quite versatile.

I had a couple of pairs of foot ware that needed attention.. slightly coming away at the sole etc.. the one actually quite bad, considering they were essentially brand new, however I did not have the time to even negotiate a return.. it is such a faff sometimes!! Therefore I opted for a repair myself. Although there were some mixed reviews about the product, I decided to try the glue having read online it was the best available. I must say it took a little getting to grips with the technique required, however the results were superb. You really have to give a good clamping pressure for the allotted time of 45 seconds, and you are good to go. The adhesion is superb, and I have worn my repaired trainers and boots with no issue since. Wipe the excess as soon as possible to prevent any staining. It definitely is not a basic glue by any means as others have indicated, the way it adheres is far superior and the results are excellent.

It has glued the sole of my walking shoe back on but I do wonder if it's anything more than expensive super glue.

Tried various different top brands to glue the front my trainers and they all failed. Thought I would try Shoe Glue as a last resort and to my surprise after 30 seconds it worked. Not cheap but worth the money.

After two trips to the professional Cobblers local to me and the new soles they installed peeling off within one week, I decided to try this glue and do the job myself. Easy enough to apply. I'm impressed so far, it's probably been three weeks now since using it and no sign of the soles coming loose at all. I would definitely recommend based on my own experience.

This product worked great and has a nice screw cap to allow reuse. However I thought I it was some specialised shoe adhesive. It's basically identical to superglue (which is a lot less expensive and which I had already).
