Why aren't these the standard earpads for Worktunes?!
I replaced the old earpads on my Worktunes because they began to fall apart.These replacements are thicker, softer and more compliant than the standard earpads, and therefore both atenuate noise better and are more comfortable than the standard earpads, as the hard plastic at the base of the cups no longer pushes against my ears all day.No idea why these aren't the standard earpad!A note about the enclosed instructions: I couldn't remove the old earpad assembly following 3M's included instructions, but I was able, without causing damage, to do so by using a flathead screwdriver as a lever on the inside of one side of the earpad, using the opposite side as the fulcrum.
