Been using these for mostly school work and honestly they do the job realy well. They erase clean without leaving that smeary look you get from cheap erasers. I needed a vinyl eraser for art class and I hesitantly chose this 4-pack because it was literally cheaper than a single eraser! These are durable, effective, and well worth the price. I would not use these for a lot of precise erasing, but I haven't had any problems with the eraser. I will note for people looking for this specifically that these are not dust free. I find them to have average dust. Some reviews say they "crumble" but they aren't doing that for me. Little rolls of the eraser will come off with use, but no more than a standard pink eraser for school. None of the erasers were missing from my package. However, the glue holding the package together was very weak, and seemed to be entirely missing on one side. Overall, these are excellent erasers, and I will buy them, and other products from this brand, again!

Probably the best eraser I have ever used in my life. Cleans pencil without ripping apart the paper. You can also use it to clean the pesky adhesive residues left after removing labels. Made in Germany, very good quality, you get what you pay for.

These are great erasers, but buyer beware: the listing of this product is inaccurate. It states "Made in Germany" right in the title, but the erasers I received are now made in Peru. I have a bunch of other Staedtler Mars erasers from throughout the years and they were all made in Germany. Sad to see Staedtler is now outsourcing the production of these products to cut costs, but I'm also disappointed in the inaccurate description.

Maybe there are many who have become frustrated with the selection of erasers found in your typical box store. This is a product that has a huge range of quality, and cheaper versions tend to have texture issues (usually too hard for artist grade and quality paper or they tend to smudge the surface. Fortunately neither of these issues are present with the Saedtler mars plastic eraser. They are a quality product with the propper softness, no smudging and a decent size. The price point also makes it a good value.
