My local store doesn't carry this so I ordered here. I am surprised about how many ways I use it. For example, I like to beat it into eggs for scrambles or omelets. Tasty with a little zing, but not overly hot if you use in moderation.

I have always loved chili oil but never thought to buy it myself. Now that I finally have I cannot stop using it! This chili oil is so crunchy and delicious but be warned - it is spicy! I love to add it to eggs (hard boiled, sunny-side up, scrambled), avocado toast, pasta, sliced cucumber... anything really! I went through it so quickly I had to buy the 2-pack within a couple weeks! I highly recommend this brand.

Good chili crisps/oil. The texture of the crisps is too hard for my liking. You never really thinks about this when eating food, but I did when eating this. I prefer a smoother texture. The taste of the crisps is excellent. It is a salty, savory burst of flavor. The overall taste is mild and slightly spicy, with a stronger afterburn of heat. If you are sensitive to spice or heat, it may be too much. It does lack the complexity of flavor that Fly by Jing has, but is still a pleasant, smoother tasting sauce. The taste is smooth but the texture is crispy. Would buy again.

I don’t think I make anything that my husband doesn’t put this on! I’m not a super spicy person but I use this in many dishes I cook and it adds so much flavor. Not too spicy depending on the amount you use. The price is so good compared to what I can get at my grocery store so I buy it here on Amazon. Love this!

Very disappointed with this chili crisp for the following reasons: it comes in a plastic bottle which is absurd for such products; it is not spicy at all and actually doesn't have much flavor either; it has a slightly fishy taste although I was particular about checking ingredients to see if there was any fish sauce or shrimp paste or seaweed in it before buying! Hopefully that odd taste is not from the plastic leaching into it. I normally don't like wasting food items but might just throw this out since I have tried it a few times and I have had to add other hot sauces to compensate for this crappy product 😕

I bought Mr. Bing Chili Crisp ($11.99) as a cheaper alternative to Hot Crispy Oil ($14.99). I was swayed by the endorsement of one of my favorite chef's, Jet Tila. I'm sad to say that it did not live up to my expectations. Compared to Hot Crispy Oil, which has large pieces of garlic and shallots, Mr. Bing is more like minced garlic. The first time I ever had crispy chili oil, it was also minced but I still loved it and it began my journey to finding the best crispy chili oil. Unfortunately, Mr. Bing's dominant taste is salt and does not have the depth of flavor of the other crispy chili oils I have tried, hence the 3 stars for flavor and the 2 stars for value for the money. I did appreciate that my jar was plastic instead of glass as I saw lots of reviews where the glass jars broke in transit.

Adds a great flavor profile for many dishes, it's nice and smooth with a small bit of heat. Not a strong scent either.

I've tried all the chili crisp there is. Bing is the best. For example Fly By Jing is almost all oil with just a small amount of crisp. Bing is the opposite having a good amount of crisp. Bing actually does not contain MSG whereas I can taste MSG in Fly By Jing though it claims to not contain any. I am not a bot or paid reviewer. This is just good chili crisp and in my opinion the best.

So great. Flavorful and super adaptable. Added some to the top of some Thai red curry chicken. Great. Added some to some mayo to make a spicy mayo. Great. Good texture and good heat level. Will purchase again!

Tried this because of all the recipes calling for it. It is a bit too crunchy. Flavor is good. Won’t buy again

I have been exploring Asian inspired food preparations and have come across this chili crisp condiment that was asked for in some of the recipes. I never saw it before so I researched it online and a famous chef recommended Mr Bing. I bought it and it’s amazing. I need some more.

Impossible to describe the taste! You just have to try it!
