Are these bowls for cats or dogs? Why does it say "cat water dish bowl"?

Well, this item can be used for both dogs and cats. I think the manufacturer just wanted to make sure pet owners of both could find this water dish.

Would I need to re-fill the food bowl for a 15-pound dog, or does the bowl fit enough food for a feeding with no re-fill needed(

Yes these are small! My 6 pound dog will drink the water dry.

Are they microwavable?

No, the rim is a light metal so no, i don't think they are microwavable

Plastic or silicone? Title and description say opposite things.

The lids are plastic, but the bowls are silicone.

These are excellent for travel or everyday use

The media could not be loaded. These are great. I bought them to travel with my cat but now she just uses them daily. They are the perfect size and easy to clean. They have a lid for travel and they fold flat. Super lightweight but don't spill easily. They also have a clip to attach to a carrier or playpen. Great value

Decent For Pet Carriers and Long Flights

Super helpful to have.
