No, our recordings are segmented into 1 minute clips to ensure the most secure data protection. If your dash cam loses power during an accident, the 1 min clips are able to finish writing to the micro-SD card as the super capacitor provides enough energy to power the dash cam. If your dash cam records in longer segments and is not able to fully finished writing the clip to the micro-SD card you could lose the impact clip completely.

Does this cam have the ability to download video to cell phone in case I have to show a police officer video of accident. If yes, how many minutues?

You shouldn't have too much trouble with the factory tinted glass. If you notice a significant change we would recommend changing the brightness settings in the Thinkware App.
