I laid it over the keyboard and smoothed it down and it looks and feels great!Just be careful you order the right one for your model of laptop. If I had chosen the wrong one it would not have fit the keys and would have been missing some on the top row.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Put this over my dad's brand new laptop keyboard and he didn't even know it was there! Seamless fit and clear letters. Functionality:Great way to keep the keyboard clean.

Bought a 17.3" Hp laptop and wanted to protect the keyboard. It took 3 tries, and the third (this one) was the charm.Caution when buying keyboard covers for laptops: I noticed when changing the color selection, the description changed to 15.6". The selection should be set up so that you can select size and the options (colors) can highlight and differentiate.I think that's what happened with the first order. I was getting frustrated. Was able to get CS to confirm this one would fit. Satisfied with Clear.If liquid splashes, it will protect. But if liquid runs to the sides, that's another story.

This keyboard cover despite it being really thin it feels sturdy and fits like a gloves on each button, unfortunately it did not fit my HP Envy, 17.3" FHT touch, 17t-cr100 it was too short. It fitted well until it got to the numeric pad. It felt nice to touch, noticed some typing noise reduction. Too bad it didn't work it would have provided great protection against dust and finger prints. Sadly I'll have to return it, hopefully I'll find the right one, since I've bought around 5 of these and none has been the right fit.

I have an HP 17” lappy. I’ve been wearing the keys down and bought this to help stop it. Can’t even tell it’s on there while typing. Even in the picture? Can’t even notice it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been searching for 1 that fits with no luck. This one is just a tab to short. Just like my other ones. The dell ones fit perfect but I can't find a hp envy even thought they swear to fit. I woukd give it less stars but if it fit the product was thick enough and well made.
