I’ve always had trouble finding a foundation that doesn’t stick to my dry patches and fine lines. Since I’ve been trying to go more natural with my beauty routine I decided to try this and omg it actually works! The packaging is cheap plastic but other than that I have no complaints, it looks smooth and even on my skin and doesn’t get patchy or settle into my fine lines. I was a skeptic about this . I can not say enough about this product. It is probably the best foundation I have ever used. I have always purchased expensive foundations and was never truly impressed. This stuff impressed me. It goes on very light and creamy, it spreads out very silky and smooth ( I love that about it, the light weight and silkiness) . Now, the color came and I immediately thought I chose one that is far to dark, but I gave it a try. I have medium toned skin and to my surprise this stuff is what I will call self leveling and the color just spreads out and it ended up being perfect. The only thing I have an issue with is actually the bottle, it is a pump type and I can not control the amount that comes out because it goes all the way down and far too much comes out and was going to waste. I just unscrew top and use my fingers to control how much is coming out not to waste any of it. I will continue using this, and again can not say enough about it.

Love this foundation. It goes on smoothly and is very lightweight so you do not feel like you are caking your face. Great for older skin as it just glides on. Some people object to the vanilla smell when first applied. It goes away immediately. I personally like the smell but the feel of the product on the skin and the look is so natural you do not feel made up. Others have complained as it is hard to get just a small amount out of the bottle. I found the best way to get just a small drop as that is all you need is to use your thumb and gently squeeze it into the other palm. I use two shades to blend under my eye area and for the rest of my face. The bottle last a long time. It may take several tries to get your right shade and it will change with the seasons. Highly recommend it, especially for older skin.

I was really excited waiting for this foundation to show up in the mail since I was sick of toxic chemicals in my makeup. Once the package arrived, I immediately opened the package and pumped some of it onto the top of my hand. When I first opened the package I was worried since the foundation in the jar looked a lot darker than than it had looked on Amazon. I applied it to my face after washing it however and blended it in with an oval foundation brush. It is exactly the color that I expected! My boyfriend really enjoys the smell of this foundation too so that is an added bonus! He actually commented saying he couldn't tell I was even wearing makeup and that it looked like I naturally had flawless skin.I can tell I will enjoy this make up line a lot. I have just recently switched to all organic make up to try and fix my skin issues that convenience store makeup has caused all these years. It is called "convenience" for a reason (and not because it is good for you). I am pregnant and wanted to ensure that I use only safe makeup products since our skin absorbs around 18% of everything you put on it.So far so good with this product. I've used it for a few weeks and my skin hardly has any breakouts at all now. I do wish it was a few dollars cheaper however. I bought BaeBlu's brow tint powder after liking this foundation. It works well also and I look forward to buying more and exploring the various cosmetics this company offers.Pros:-This makeup is light in coverage for those who like the natural beauty and "I didn't know you had makeup on!" type of look- It smells lightly of sweet vanilla and provides a calming aromatic effect when applied- It is extremely water-based and is good for women with dry skin (after washing your face, I recommend putting on a facial moisturizer and then a primer before applying this for best results)- This is a healthy and safe makeup for optimal all-day makeup wearing. I feel comfortable knowing that if happen to accidentally fall asleep in this makeup, it is not filled with poison and won't clog my pores.Cons:- This foundation is very liquidy and takes several layers of application to the face to cover normal redness in the face- You WILL NEED a makeup setting spray after you finish applying your full makeup with this foundation. It comes off very easily since it is natural and light.- The price isn't convenient- It probably won't last as long since it is very water-based (although I have not had it long enough to know)- When pumping the makeup for application, it is difficult to control how much comes out and I often pump too much without tryingOverall, this is a great foundation. I bought this over another organic makeup brand with the same price since it seemed much more of an authentic company that cares about the customer. And you know what? I asked on BaeBlu's website which shade to get and the owner and CEO Moriah herself replied and gave me a very kind and lengthy response via email. She even responded adequately to my 'thank you' reply. I am quite satisfied with this company so far. Sure it is not the price range women are used to for daily makeup, but it is much better than those expensive "luxury" Sephora brands that fill their products with toxic ingredients. I hope this review helps you to make a decision on whether or not to purchase this foundation. This company makes a lot of other healthy organic cosmetics as well so please don't be discouraged!

Omgosh! According to the colour chart, I thought almond would be a good choice for me but it's actually a lot darker than the photo.Thankfully the customer service is Awesome and they helped me pick out Bamboo (which is literally THE PERFECT shade for me!!) in accordance to the shades I use with 100% pure brand cosmetics.The colour in the bottle looks a bit darker than the foundation itself, especially when blended.This foundation is more viscous in texture than 100% pure matte foundation, blends very well and smells very slightly of vanilla or cocoa; it's so pleasant! My bf said it smells good too. It is a semi-matte finish with a fine sheerness to it, really natural but still gives that perfected skin look.I'm still trippin about how good the shade matches! It's actually not too orange like I have trouble with the other pure foundation I use.Interestingly enough, I never choose or have been matched for shades with a cool undertone but Bamboo has a cool undertone and it's practically a perfect match!My only concern is the ingredient "boron nitride" so I'll see how my skin reacts to it, but other than that it's an all natural foundation with the Best ingredients!8-hour update:Set the foundation with the arrowroot and ginger powder combo I made and my makeup has looked damn good for over 8 hours now!I will update after using for a week.Thanks again for this foundation! I am a very happy girl right now 😸Over 1 Week Update:Yep! This natural foundation is a HIT! My skin is looking fantastic!!I love it even better than 100% Pure Cosmetic's foundation 😬3 MONTH UPDATE!!! 😍I used this foundation really often.... at work, on days off and when going out.It’s lasted me from October 28 till mid February.SOOO IMPRESSED with this base!Update: I’ve been using this foundation for over a year now. I LOVE it!!! PLEASE just don’t make it more expensive lol for real. I think $26 is a fair price.
