Why did you choose this product over others?:I have always found that Philips lightbulbs are good quality and last for a reasonable amount of time, and you know you are getting something decent. That is the case with these lightbulbs. I feel reassured that these are safe to use and won't cause a short circuit, and so far, they have been perfect in both my lamps.Light quality:The light quality emitted from the Philips bulbs is superb because they have a soft glow due to the frosting and being a glass bowl, too. They are pretty much the same as the traditional pearl incandescent lightbulbs. They are gentle to the eye and don't cause eye strain at all. These Philips bulbs are equivalent to 40w incandescent bulb, but I feel they are brighter than the traditional bulbs.Colour range:The colour of the bulb is a pearl white, and when switched on, they give a warm white glow or yellow white, which is more relaxing to the eye. They are perfect for incandescent replacements as they have the same glow.Quality:These are fine quality lightbulbs that are made from glass, like the traditional bulbs, which spread light evenly,y and they do not flicker. These are not dimmable bulbs, though. The bulbs are glass, round, and without the white base that cheaper LED bulbs have, so light is spread evenly around the bulb.The size of these bulbs is slightly larger than the incandescent bulb as there is the led filament in them which means they need more space then the old tungsten type. so just be aware of that if you are putting them in a tight fitting or shade.

Happy with this product, prefect for my lamps. The amount of lighting is great, it is soft but bright enough not to be too dim/dull looking. Lovely crisp light.

Perfect bright light

Bought 2 sets of these to go with my Tiffany lamp base, as wanted them not too high wattage and subtle lighting. They fitted perfectly as expected, only small gripe for me, is they are very bright, was hoping for a more subtle lighting, but perhaps I will get used to it in time. Overall good quality product and should last.

These are great value bulbs from a well know trusted brand... what's not to like?

Really warm white like the old bulbs 2700k makes all the difference not 3000k
