I broke my tibula and fibula a few weeks ago, and as a result, my foot and ankle were swelling really bad after surgery. I was using ice packs which was a nightmare since they invevitably leak. I hopped on Amazon and did a search, lots of options, and variable prices. I chose this due to the price. I love it. It is HUGE, but the velcro straps fit nicely where you need the extra pressure and the interior is super, super soft. Great purchase.

Great if you just sit/lay around with your foot up all the time. Great for reducing swelling in more than just an ankle. Stays on pretty good if put on correctly.Bulky & heavy, & not easy to put on if no instructions. Has to be put on a certain way or its even more bulky.

I have ankle, tibia, heel, metatarsal pain, and just overall foot pain in both feet. I’m in PT and wearing a boot all day, and putting ice in a ziplock bag wasn’t doing anything for me. I was hesitant to buy these because I have the skinniest ankles and feet, but with the adjustable straps I made these puppies work! For those of you with huge feet or ankles, fear not, these could fit Bigfoot himself… seriously. I highly recommend them as there is extreme full coverage and they are very adjustable depending on your size. Thank you for inventing this gem of an ice pack, I’m in heaven.

I purchased this for use while visiting family to make it easier to ice my foot and ankle while healing from surgery. The ice pack did not seem to stay cold for any length of time and was bulky and hard to get connection at the places that needed cold therapy. Freezing the whole thing, as required, made a stiff to work with wrap that did not provide the cold relief I thought it would. It gave some relief, 3 stars worth. I would be better off wrapping with old fashioned ice packs and securing with a towel. Would not buy again. May use again when I need 20 mins of cold therapy and feel like wrestling with the wrap.

Love everything about this…. I broke my ankle and leg (tib, fib, talus and everything attached) in a MTB accident. This has been a absolutely amazing addition in the recovery process. I can’t say enough how much help in pain, swelling and comfort this has given. I was apprehensive at first but my wife got it for me anyways. Left for a long weekend trip and forgot this in the freezer, we literally turned around and added a few hours to the journey to go back and grab it.

I ordered this hoping it would give me some relief for numbness/neuropathy/arthritis of foot but it was way too big and never did cover any part of my foot. First of all it is really really heavy, second when I froze it the thing was so hard it would take a hammer to get it to fit easily. I never could get my foot all the way back into the boot because it was so hard and trying to close it was another difficult task. I tried to let it loosen up a bit but it was so heavy and still so hard, I gave up. I am a female, size 9 shoe and this thing was at least 3to 4 inches out from my toe to the end, way over big, just HUGE. So I thought maybe if I stood up it would go in, but no, that didn't work, nearly fell over trying to get it placed. After about 30 minutes each time, and two days of trying, I give up, will have to return. On the hunt for a lighter, more effective cold pack.

Incredible relief from the pain of severe chronic swelling and lymphedema. I wish I had found out about these wraps years earlier. The fuzzy inside lining makes it possible to put bare feet inside without needing additional covering. I use the wraps without fastening the straps while sitting on the sofa. The wrap softens for flexibility after 5-10 min and stays cold for over 1 hour. This wrap is one of my most valued items for reducing pain.

Pros: It's big. Real big. I wear a size 13-15 men's shoe and it was a bit big on me. That's definitely better than too small at least.Cons: With it being so big it's impossible to have the ice packs touching all of your foot and ankle at the same time. The straps help, but it ends up making contact with maybe 50% of the surface area of your foot and ankle. The rest of your foot is enveloped in something with walls made of ice so it's still cooler than a regular ice pack would be even on the parts that aren't coming into contact with the ice packs.The thing sweats like crazy. The top positive review that says it doesn't sweat seems super suspect. Maybe they live in a desert with 0% humidity or something. The level of coldness varies in different areas of the product so the moisture starts to pool in the colder parts and turns into big chunks of ice. I guess the fact that it's cold enough to freeze that is a plus, but you're going to get everything around you wet. The inside is covered in a fabric and is fine, but the outside sweats something fierce.The final "con" I suspect is just a result of poor QC and it's possible that I just received a flukey defective item. There is no gel whatsoever in the ankle portion of this. There's a space where the gel is probably supposed to be, it's just empty. You can see how easily the ankle portion bunches up in the photo because it's just empty material with nothing inside. Fortunately I bought this for my foot, but had I bought it for my ankle it would essentially be useless
