These are good quality and sturdy bars but if you’re going to mount this on a camper shell or something flat the brackets it comes with won’t work. The brackets are 90 degree plates that bolt on through the side.

Originally purchased to mount to side cross bars on an existing bed rack. The bars are great quality for the price the mounting brackets are limited on application and need extras if you are not mounting directly to the bed sides. If mounting to the bed directly, you'll have to drill and through bolt them or use the sheet metal screws provided. Quality is there, didn't workout for me so I gave them to a friend. I'd buy again as the quality is good at this price point.

Easier than the tall ladder rack, holds two 65 # kayaks with ease, no other racks needed. Much easier to load and tie down at bed rail height.

Product is gif but the brackets that mount to the truck already rusting after 1 day of rain. This will not last long

Following Glen's review, I decided to purchase it, but I noticed that if I follow his way by cutting 1/2 of the base plate, the handler of the Tonneau cover will get stock with the bars. I don't know how he did it, but I decided to add 4 aluminum pieces of 1"x2" elevating the rack bars, so I can move the Tonneau cover freely (see attached pictures). As Glen, I had to cut the length of the bars.Below see the Amazon names and links to all the things I used for this modification. The cost is low in comparison with other bed racks in the market. Used they to build an over the bed bike rack so I could still use my bed for hauling other items. Good quality so far, but I don’t leave it on all the time. Very happy so far.
