Very useful! Separates audio to each listening source. I could be listening to a song as if I was listening to it alone and then 4 others who come and plug in could listen to it separately from their corded headphones! Also, it doesn't matter where you plug the main component-cord in. As long as it is plugged into one of the holes and then the other end is plugged into an audio emitter (laptop), you are good to go!

My kids used this on a plane so all three could watch a movie together on a tablet. Worked great and doesn't take up much space.

Sometimes I watch movies with friends and we need to plug more than one set of headphones in. I had a very cheap headphone splitter with two jacks but they were very closely spaced and made it impossible to plug both in.I was pleased to find this splitter at such a great price. Solves my problem by having the jacks far enough apart to plug in several large plugs. It's very versatile for what it costs and what it is. How long it will last remains to be seen but hey. It was six bucks and products like this are getting hard to find local. As long as it works and lasts a couple years, I'm OK with it.Also, I noticed one other review said there's a hum. There isn't on mine. No background noise at all.

Bought these for my kids to watch movies in the car. Works great and decent price. Just have to make sure you push the headphones firmly in or the will slip out easily, that is why I put four stars on this review.

I've used splitters in the past and always got some sound/volume loss. Using this splitter between 2 earbuds and 2 headphones seemed to have no quality or volume loss at all. It does seem a little flimsy or cheap though, but for the price and function, it's worth 5 stars.

Horrible audio quality when using all ports. Was ok at 2 lines out. At 3 lines out it was not unlistenable , but noticeable volume drop, static hum, and distortion depending on what listening to. At 4 out was way too much degradation. Music was muffled and bass weak plus distorted. You get what you pay for. It's cheap for a reason. Don't understand all the high star reviews
