It is the same as any standard replacement grip. About 1.5 mm. In size.

Q: Can you use this as overgrip or is this meant to replace the grip? i have a wilson r97 w/ a 4 1/2 grip i wanted to expand into a 4 5/8 grip.

That's not how you build up a grip. You take the grip off, then put a heat shrink sleeve on there, like these: https://www.amazon.com/Gamma-Buildup-Sleeves-Black-8-Inch/dp/B000W4D6KK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473592754&sr=8-1&keywords=tennis+grip+heat+shrinkthen put your grip back on. FWIW, I did this with the RF97, no problem, but I am now going back down to 4-1/2 because it's difficult to hit a modern forehand with a grip that big.
