I initially started with a 2-Pak of lights just wanting to test them for my needs. I'll admit that, because of cloudy rainy days for about 2 months with intermittent sunshine, it did take the lamps some time to reach full capacity. I was so pleased that I have since ordered and received a second 2-pak. The globes are attractive and very well made with a sturdy post that is easily assembled and placed in the yard. Overall, very pleased and recommend.

When setting the light for less than full brightness (less than maximum battery drain), it provides very adequate pathway lighting all night after normal daylight charging. Setting reduced brightness seems very adequate for path lighting. Full brightness (when selected) is very bright with this yard light, but lighting duration has not yet been tested with full brightness. Some of these have been used for at least 3 years, and there is no apparent battery degradation after daily recharging.

These lights perform very well for their modest price. They also look quite impressive and are stoutly built. Granted, the elements – even in southern California – get to them after a while, because it all adds up. So, a few years down the road and the surface of the solar panel as well as the body take a beating from the combination of sun and sprinklers, etc. However, they put out real good light, the only drawback being the near impossible task of finding identical rechargeable batteries if they go south. Also, the company has exemplary customer service: Had an issue and they reached out and set things right immediately – quite impressive. There, its paid forward! : )

While these lights are costly compared to the cheap, Chinese-made lights, they are very well-made and will last a long time. The light is bright and the solar panel is large, providing pathway lighting that you can actually see. The glass is clear and looks fantastic. the copper top and shaft look great. The stake for inserting the light into the ground is metal and provides a good solid base for the light. I inserted PVC pipe in the ground of the appropriate size and am able to remove the lights easily when mowing. replacing the lights is simple and easy. I am happy with the lights, the quality and construction and would buy them again.

These lights are durable and made very well. We use them to line our hot tub patio and it works out great.
