I just recieved this and the filter is stuck. How can i get it off?

I find that making my dish rag wet & placing it (& my thumb) into the inset on the bottom of the presse (where the rubber ring is located) while using some pressure & turning counterclockwise helps greatly to unscrew/separate the filter basket from the presse. I've had mine for awhile, but do recall that it was very tight when I first received it. It is only as tight as you make it thereafter however. I love mine! ...so much so that I took the time to epoxy that outer tumbler section. It's my go-to every day.

Is the item weight really 14 grams?

it's weight is 395 grams , i use it everyday at home and travel. i think it's great

I returned it because hot water touching plastic inside. Can you make it without plastic ?

I believe the entire product is made if stainless steel and silicone. No plastic came with mine though I purchased outside of Amazon. The gasket and lid are not made of plastic so your answer to your question is "Yes, since there is no plastic used."
