It's a spyderco so you know it's made well, in person the long perfectly straight back edge has an optical illusion of being slightly curved. I'm super comfortable with spydercos and don't even look at them a lot of the time when I open and close them, the extra length made me adjust my single handed closing method to keep from nicking my palm though.

Great small business. Will be at the top of my list for future purposes.

Took it out, put in pocket. Was working around the barn, had to cut a garden hose. One hand hose, one hand slice. Single slice went through old, hard garden hose. Not bad for a knife you can forget you're carrying it's so light and slim. Good good stuff. Hones right back up to hair popping too.

The knifes ergonomics are perfect for larger guys like myself who need a bigger handle length and longer blade. The knifes blade material is beautiful, K390 holds an amazing edge and isn’t that difficult to sharpen. The knifes blade and handle design are perfect in symmetry as a larger every day carry knife. I would recommend this knife to anyone with big hands looking for a quality knife with good steel.

K390 is NOT STAINLESS. It is a super tough and super wear resistant tool steel that provides amazing edge retention as long as you keep it clean and dry. If you're contemplating getting this knife but don't know much about the steel, I would suggest looking at any of the VG-10 police models. They won't rust as easily, cost less, and will be less difficult to sharpen. K390 can provide a hair popping edge that lasts longer and takes more physical abuse than VG-10, but at the cost of corrosion resistance.

This knife is really slicey, it cuts better than some of my kitchen knives, and the long handle and blade make it very nice for kitchen tasks and food prep. The steel keeps it’s edge for an insanely long time, and because of it’s size it is a really useful knife for a variety of tasks.

Had this knife only a week or two. Hadn’t really used it much and kept it in a dry place but it still developed surface rust all over the blade. Not cool.

I have huge oven mitts hands and this knife is the bomb. Razor sharp. Not rust proof. Get a lynch clip for deep carry
