Drums? I've had all types of things: acoustic, electric (desktop and full size), finger pads, software drum machines... But never something so sparse as this.The videos for it looked magical and I was into getting something that didn't cost a bomb or take the size of a crater.There's not much in the box and expectantly setup doesn't take long, the most involved process being getting the camera and your stool positioned correctly which requires nothing more than trial and error, and some assistance from the printed guide.Even as a veteran drummer you will require some time to get used to a few things before you're performing competently, that being the positions of the invisible drums (though they can be moved on-screen) and also adhering rigidly to the stick-slap-to-bottom-of-palm to get the closest feeling of resistance. But even within minutes of first setup you'll be amazed at the responsiveness and fluidity on the WASAPI low-latency Windows driver. Throw in a DAW and your favourite drum VST and you're in a good comfort zone for recording.A few downsides that don't detract much from the product is that it naturally is easier to get tired more quickly on this as opposed to real surfaces that spare your energy. The light bulb is also not something to look directly into.The direct modern competitor to Aerodrums seems to be Freedrums which uses gyroscopes and MIDI over Bluetooth as opposed to tracking via (included) camera. This makes for a much neater setup. However, Freedrums doesn't appear to have its own sound library, if that's important to you, and you can't see on a screen where your drums are and perform hi-hat pedal movements more naturally. It's also not officially supportive of Windows, though inevitably will be. Both products are about the same price though so it's probably just minor things that will sway you towards this or that.It's definitely not a perfect replacement for a physical kit (real or electric), but it's certainly not bad for clutter-free casual practice and maybe minor touch ups of recordings performed with a physical electric kit.You can see the future potential of this product: combine it with augmented reality and force feedback and you'll be more immersed. As it is, it's a decent product for the price (the software being the core feature), just consider a physical kit as a primary instrument and this secondary.

ほかのレビューにもあるが、かなり暗い部屋でないと使用不可なのと、毎回セッティングが面倒くさい。据え置きしておいてもカメラの角度や位置が少しずれていても正確に反応しないので毎回セッティングは必須です。反応速度においては遅延などは感じず概ね満足ですが、3D画面にした時にグラフィック設定が毎回必要なのと、タム類の反応する位置が狭く分かりづらい。タムとシンバルと誤認識しやすい。自分で配置するモード（カスタムドラムセット）しかバスやハットの反応感度設定が変えられない。同モードしかシンバルチョークが出来ない。そして思った位置に配置しにくい。画面内と簡単な取説は日本語だが、アップデートの際のサイトは全て英語でどうやったらアップデートできるかわからない。スマホやタブレットでアプリから3D画面を表示できるようだが、出来ない。サクッと気軽にドラム（のような物）を演奏したい、という要望ならKORGのクリップヒットの方が良いです。エアロドラムスは演奏までにパソコン、スピーカー、畳約二畳分の空間、面倒なセッティングが必須となる為です。しかしこのエアロドラムスの最大の売りは、一般的な電子ドラム（擬似ドラム）による最大の弱点である不要音（パットの打撃音）が皆無というところだと思います。パコパコ邪魔な音が無いのは、やはり叩いていて気持ちいいし周りの迷惑にもならず画期的。演奏の動作による騒音はほぼ無いので、集合住宅でも苦情は来ないと思います。当然空振りなので、リアルなドラムの練習になるのかは？です。色々と不満を並べましたが、私としてはパコパコ音が無くドラム演奏（のような物）が出来るというだけで星4つです。数ある擬似ドラムに手を出してきましたが、今のところこれが一番かも。パッドタイプの電ドラをヘッドフォン爆音で演奏して不満がないって人ならエアロドラムスは要らないかもしれません。あと全くのドラム未経験者ではこの商品を活用するのは厳しいかなとも思います。

Soy batería y creo que está muy muy logrado este "cachivache". Los sonidos de batería son muy buenos y la sensibilidad es sorprendentemente precisa! Aún me falta ajustar los parámetros pero me alegro de haberla comprado.Un detalle: me han enviado la sony eye cam junto con la caja del aerodrum. Así que ahora tengo dos, porque indicaban que hacía falta comprarla a parte. Aunque por 9€, me la quedo por si se me rompe :)Contento de la compra!

Purchased the Aerodrums last week (along with the camera) to test and reveal it at our show (facebook.com/PMJAMNITES) .At first, when the box arrived I thought its just a software dvd. Its so light and small. Neatly tucked inside are the ingredients (including a quick get-started sorta Owners Manual). The set up of the software was a breeze. I had a professional drummer attach the reflectors on her shoes and played with the software for about 10 minutes, before we were playing Billy Jean and some Rush tunes. I sent an email in the meantime to inventors of Aerodrums who promptly called me from Europe and we discussed the setup and how we could enhance this product. They ere very helpful in their pointers as we were gong to do this at our very popular event (PMJAMNITES) , so the LIVE setup needed a few pointers. They have been open to our feedback and are truly invested in bettering this product. Now for the actual product . Once you start playing with the kit - Its FUN FUN FUN ! You will not want to put down the sticks. The sound is very realistic ! The feel taking getting used to.. BUt in 20 Minutes you will be comfortable playing easily. There is absolutely no latency . The camera positioning and drum kit setup I would say are the only 2 things that need setting up (we placed the camera 29 inches from the floor and 4 feet from the drummer at a 1 O'clock position. this proved to be the best). We are looking to see the future versions of this product as it can only get better, We plan to unveil this product at our show tonite and think its gonna be a huge hit with our community. It solves the problem of practicing drums at home (specially with neighbous) and also with jamming at home with other musicians - without having a kit. Im a bassist, not adrummer - and I think I have had more fun learning drums from this kit than the V-Drums , I have in my studio. - Highly recommend this product !! The price point is incredible and cheap. The joy is invaluable., - PLAYMUSICIAN
