Speeds up the process to get high quality mini bases. Looks very good.

I already use Vallejo Model and Game Color paints, but have never tried their basing supplies. I'm glad I finally did. Compared to other similar (British) products that come in smaller bottles for many times the price, this was such a pleasant surprise. It takes a bit of time to cure/dry so be mindful of that, but otherwise it's a breeze to apply and paint if you want something other than dark brown.

The color dries matte. It sticks well. It takes paint well. The grain of the Vallejo dark earth gel is finer than you're likely to get if you make your own texture paint which means the texture is actually in scale. You also get a ton for your money. I'm not sure I'll live long enough to need to buy a second tub unless I take up commission painting. This is a hard product to beat.

I'm new to painting miniatures and stumbled across this in my quest to make my son's Warcraft look good. I'm so glad I found it. There is a huge amount in the jar, far more than I will need for my son's starter set. It is really easy to apply and sculpt. It set up really well and was so easy to highlight with dry brushing. I highly recommend this basing material.

This is pretty easy to spread and keeps its volume much better than other similar products I have tried. The color doesn’t come out as dark as I would imagine dark earth to be. It’s more like dry dirt.

This is a great product for jungle soil. Add some Italian herbs for ground scatter and a few jungle tufts of grass and you have a very nice base for a miniature in the jungle.

I use it for my Warhammer 40.000 mini's, it gives a perfect base and makes the mini look more detailed in general.Makes it look like they are going though actual terrain.

Great basing material, easily spreadable on the base of 40K miniatures. Plenty in the container so will probably be able to do all of my space Marines. Highly recommended

Ich habe für die Miniaturen von Green Horde etc. (Zombicide) nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, die Base mit etwas Struktur zu bestreichen, bevor weitere Details rauf sollen. Und bin mit diesem Produkt fündig geworden. Die Konsistenz ist natürlich eine andere als die normaler Acryl-Farben. Dennoch lässt sich auch eine andere Farbgebung durch mischen damit erwirken. Wichtig ist dann nur, dass es vielleicht etwas länger als die angegebenen 30-45 Minuten dauert, bis man weiter daran arbeiten kann.Und man sollte nach der Lieferung darauf achten, vor dem Öffnen den Behälter ein- bis zweimal mit dem Boden voran auf eine Oberfläche zu klopfen, damit man nicht das ganze Siegel noch mit Farbe bedeckt hat.

Great stuff! I add it to the bases, through in some more debris and dip it in sand for extra texture. So easy to work with. Dries quickly too.
