Very surprised the job it did on my brake pad damaged black powder coated wheel
I got this not expecting much. Not a detailer but a auto painter. I had a brake pad delaminate and ruin a factory black wheel on my wives Ram. I also have another family members newer machined wheel that has the same damage. I will do a video when I clean that one.Not expecting much I didn't take before and after. Even with out work most of the rust is gone. I had tried regular professional wheel cleaners and they all made it look worse. The entire wheel was red. And had metal rusting particles stuck into the surface. Just playing around it's probably 80+ better. Never thought a cleaner even a metal prep could clean it like that

Not sure what all the fuss is about concerning the smell
Just received this today, and even though it’s a little cold here in NYC, I just had to try it. My wheels had a moderate amount of brake dust but they weren’t filthy. Easy enough to use, shake well, spray on a liberal amount, then let dwell for 3 to 4 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. My wheels came out spotless with no brake dust whatsoever. A number of the reviews have stated that it smells unpleasant. I do agree that it isn’t the most pleasant smell, but it isn’t too bad at all either, and for the great end results that you achieve, it’s worth it. This product is by far the best wheel cleaner that I ever used. I do not use it for iron fall out like some people do, I just use it to clean my wheels. It’s a little bit more expensive when buying from Amazon like I did, rather than buying directly from Gyeon, but with my Prime membership the shipping is free so it comes out to the same(: If you want the best wheel cleaner, look no further.

Works great but REAL stinky.
Product works great. Keep in your garage as it is one of the most foul smelling products i’ve come across. 😂

pricey and smelly but effective
If you've never used an iron remover before, then be prepared for the smell. It's awful. Really awful. Worse than a stink bomb ever thought about. definitely only use in a well ventilated area and still use a respirator if you have one. The bottle I got leaks a tiny bit around the spray trigger, which normally wouldn't be a big deal but because of how bad it smells that's actually a pretty serious issue, but solved by just throwing it in a ziploc. Beyond that, it works as intended, turns reddish purple and takes care of iron deposits like a champ and without rubbing a clay bar all over the paint. It's pretty expensive for what it is though, combined with the leaky bottle deducts a star for me. I would give it 3.5 if I could but I'm rounding up because I like gyeon's product line as whole and this is no exception in terms of flat out effectiveness.

Works well
Did exactly what I needed it to do. Has a slight smell, but nothing too awful. It did leak a bit when I stored it on its side, so be careful of that

Exceeded my expectations
I used to this product for the first time today, and it went on as described. Anywhere that it found iron it turned purple and started to drip. After I had sprayed down the entire car, I rinsed it with the pressure water at the car wash. Once I got home I was surprised at how glossy the clear coat looked on my car without having done anyting but decontaminate the iron from the paint. It looked as though it had been waxed. The appearance of my car prior to today was such that it appeared that the paint was good but had a hastily done wax job that was a couple of years old and untouched since then. Now the clear coat gleams and I have yet to use the clay bar that I purchased or any of the wax is that I intend to use, and that's why I'm so impressed with the single application of the iron out, because the paint is absolutely sparkling before I even start on the rest of the stages of the paint correction

Very effective
Gyeon iron remover is simple to use and works extremely well. Spray onto paint surface and allow it to dwell about 3 mins and watch it work. I used a bit too much the first time, so be careful or you’ll go throw half a bottle on one use. It really doesn’t require heavy spraying.Rinsed off quickly with a pressure washer and left the paint decontaminated without any residue.I’ve decided to buy the 4l container to save some cost/use.

Not Sure It Worked — Maybe User Error, Maybe Not
Tried this out on my truck to remove iron fallout and brake dust before a full detail. I sprayed it on dry paint like instructed by others, before foaming, but honestly didn’t see much of the color-changing reaction I was expecting — even in areas where I know there should’ve been some contamination. It’s hard to say whether it didn’t work well or if I used it incorrectly. The bottle doesn’t include super detailed instructions beyond basic steps, so if you’re new to iron removers, it’s easy to second-guess yourself. I might try using it differently next time — maybe post-wash or in smaller sections — to see if I get better results. Not a bad product necessarily, but the experience left me unsure if it’s doing its job. If you’re new to detailing, expect a bit of a learning curve.
