Bought this shaver to replace my old trust Phillips head cordless shave that has see its better days.This is just brilliant although not a battery powered like previous on its a lovely design so easy to use quite for a basic shaver the cored is light weight as the shaver runs off an 240 v adapter and cord that detachs from the shaver rather than a heavy pug and heavy electric cored so making easy to store the come has loads of setting so can find the length want to be by it number quite on the shaverBest all when l registered my shaver with Philips they upgrade the warranty from 12 months to 36 month so piece of mind I'm well happy with that folks.

I had the exact same model and used it for almost 10 years before the motor finally slowed down. Maybe hair got in and I might have been able to repair it if I had the right screwdriver. I'm very happy with it so I bought it again for £14.It's very simple. No battery that gives up the ghost within a year. No need to swap attachments like with many other hair clippers. It's a single adjustable attachment that can be taken off completely if need be. If you can live with the corded design (I never had a problem with it) then this is as good as it gets.

Decent product

A good clipper for the money. I cut my son and myself with this hair clipper. Very handy thing, much more practical than waiting in line at the barbershop for a month every time! The most important thing is that the nozzle adjusting the length of hair - 1, not 10 pieces.

Cuts well but cannot be used in the bathroom as it comes with a three pin plug not two

I own a Philips Toothbrush, and it’s fantastic, so I thought these clippers would be good too, but they are beyond useless. For a start, they have no battery, and because electric points aren’t allowed in UK bathrooms, this means you have to use them in another room with a mirror, but that’s a minor annoyance. The real issue is that they are beyond useless for anything other than a “buzz cut”, so if you want everyone in your house to look like they’re joining the Marines, then this might be OK for you, but anything other than nearly bald is out of the question. The flimsy plastic guard just doesn’t work. Set it to anything other than minimum, and you’ll either end up with no hair coming off or with all your hair coming off. Whoever designed these should be sacked. I’m throwing this in the bin and buying another brand. Avoid ad all costs
