I always cautioned against people getting these for computers in the past. At best all these would do is encumber air circulation making the computer just a tad hooter than necessary. My tune has changed, given the new MacBook M1 chip series. The issue of heat now off sets the concerns of older models of any computers. I don’t have to worry about overheating on average tasks.I think these are great for people that get computers from work to keep them optimist safe (especially for those who have long regeneration cycles eg two years or more). It is also useful when thinking about upgrades in a year or so. Trading in with apple can be finicky at times and they will knock your trade in value for the most minute issues. If that is an issue, I would suggest getting a (high end apple approved) screen protector to battle any issues of delamination.Really can’t beat the price either.

I got this product on the 21st of October and it is not the 6th of December. The corners on either side are chipping away. This was an issue with my last laptop case but that one two three years to get too bad. This one is like if I touch those corners where the cracks are, they chip off easily. I'm really sad about it :( All I really do is put the laptop in my backpack and go to classes and then come back. That's really all this laptop case has dealt with. I haven't dropped it.The case itself is cute tho. I mean finger marks but that doesn't bother me that much. The case itself is kinda see through which I love. I put my stickers instead of on the laptop case because I already transferred them once from my old one to here, I put them on the laptop itself and the case over it. You can kinda see them and I think it looks really dope!!But yeah, corners are cracking. Really disappointed.

I purchased this case for my M1 MacBook Pro. The case is priced well and no problem with the fit or installation; very easy. I would prefer black feet on the bottom for a black case, this these come with white feet. I purchased the black matte case and this thing is a fingerprint nightmare. I've actually quit using it because of this; just looks dirty to me. If this isn't a problem for you this case might be right for you. One other thing, with this case you will have to ditch your USB C hub if it is the dual prong type (plugs into both USB C outlets) and go to a dongle type. The case will not allow the hub to lie flat against the side of the MacBook.

I bought it because it was 1/4 of the price of the ones which they sell at the Apple store, Which that one lasted about two weeks beyond the warranty. My first purchase of this one lasted less than six months, the second one cracked while putting it on. I don’t understand why they don’t use a polymer that could at least last 24 months? I bought it to protect my computer from a fall, if it pops out of the protective case it will be the cause of the fall. As an FYI my case did not fail because the Polymer‘s were exposed to UV, as I have never had this in direct sunlight.

seriously, its super sleek and cool looking, but its sooo sleek that i can't find my macbook sometimes because its sooo matte black... but i LOVE that. its such a cool look and makes the macbook pro look really cool. and it snaps on perfect fit and is solid protection. i have yet to drop my macbook, and i really only got this because it prevents scratches and it looks cool LOL, but its pretty strong feeling plastic so i think it would protect nicely. give it a try. for the price, you cant go wrong. just know that these type of matte black covers show like finger grease or like water droplets.. its not noticeable enough to bug me to even clean it haha, but that is kinda a downside if you have OCD or whatever. other than that, fire product!
