Q: .how reliable are the wheels do they go flat? do they leave marks and hard surfaces ie, tile, wood thx

Very nice cart for the price, wheels have not gone flat and don't leave any marks on our tile.

Q: This item is made in china

I do not know but you need to know that the wheels are constant maintenance. The air comes out so you have to inflate. I like this cart otherwise. Choose wheel that are solid rubber or at least not inflatable.

Q: Will the metal on this cart rust or pit after a while? It is going to be used in a shore environment, not outside but in a beach type atmosphere.

the wheels fall apart after 4 months of use, wheels are junk, no rusting so far
