The media could not be loaded. Works as stated and its adjustable! As long as you have the room around the hinge this will work otherwise it will sit on the casing and damage it.

Prevented door opening past 90 degrees to frame. Saves hinge from pulling out or loosening.

Not enough granularity. Depending on your wall layout, this may be useless. My door is about a foot from the adjacent wall and my choices are to have the door only mostly open, or to have it denting the wall.

I really wanted this to be my go-to solution for door stops in my home, but they just don’t work for my situation. My main complaint is that you can’t really fine tune the stop distance. Adjustment is made in small steps, but this translates into the door not stopping at all or stopping too soon (maybe 30 degrees out?). I also get the sense that this device could pull the hinge plate out of the wall (when engaged with any force, it puts a lot of pressure on the plate and I can kind of see it pull out from the door jamb a little).It’s a great concept and maybe it will work for someone with different door hardware (our door knobs are kind of big). I guess I’ll stick to the standard options available at my hardware store.

Works great, I only wish the gears had a finer resolution for adjustment.

Maybe you don't open doors with the same gusto as our son, but after having holes in two hollow-core doors from the old fashion hinge stops, I discovered these. They're GREAT! Sure wish I'd know about them years ago.

Not as sturdy, as I thought. Pieces look great & blend in with the hinges, however, I couldn’t get the door to be open at the point I wanted it to be. Became a little frustrated and decided not to waste any more time on it. FYI they deduct delivery charge for returns (cost of x1 unit)
