Natural and good for you
Good value. I mix it with regular porridge oats as it is supposed to be helpful if you have high cholesterol. In addition it makes good porridge.

A good product.
I use bran in everyday cooking and baking and also add it to my cereal. Many brans are quite dusty and not pleasant tasting (esp. in cereal) but this product was a really great surprise. It tastes "oaty" in cereal and it blends in well with soda bread. I shall be buying it again.

Great value oat bran but could be ground finer!
I'm a big fan of using oatbran as a substitute for regular porridge oats - gram for gram it contains a load more fibre for the same calories. I use this in my daily high protein/high fibre breakfast smoothie as well as for "porridge" (tastes exactly the same).I've previously bought oatbran from Tesco but this pack worked out better value for the bigger size. My only complaint is that it isn't ground as finely as Tesco's one - less of an issue for porridge but if you're blending into shakes/smoothies, the texture feels a bit too grainy/bitty for my liking. I may repurchase after trying the Tesco one again so I can remind myself of how similar/different they are!

Bran is a great health benefiti
This is a good source of. addded fibre. Add the bran to breakfast cereal or add it to toppings e.g. fruit crumbles etc. A great health benefit

Great Value in the 2kg bag
Needed to add some fibre to my diet due to digestive issues and found this to be the perfect solution as it's fine and can blend into other things more easily than larger flakes. I've added it to other cereal and yoghurts to just try to get my gut going properly and it's worked well so far, only need to use such as movicol every so often now if I don't drink enough water.I'm not one for making smoothies etc but should imagine it would work ok in those. It does have quite a gritty sort of texture but may soften if left in liquid for a while. I've always prepared and eaten straight away so not sure how much it would but I quite like the texture of it as it is
