Peekaboo and SneakPeak compared 👇
This is a genuine review and comparison of the two gender tests sold on Amazon. I purchased the Peekaboo ($69) test first, not only cheaper but I wanted to give them a chance after their period of time in which they admitted their testing was not done accurately. After submitting the results I decided to purchase Sneak Peak (79) to sort of verify the results, as they are known for more accurate readings. They're both backed by results guaranteed or money back. They both come with clear instructions and a 2-day priority shipping label. I performed my tests at 8-9 weeks. For the blood draw- they both need the same amount of blood. The Sneak Peak test came with a tourniquet which allowed me to collect everything from one poke, and fairly quickly. The Peekaboo took me 3 pokes becausd their lancet makes a smaller incision. This took 3x longer than the other. For the shipping- Peekaboo ships FedEx which expedited the entire process super fast. I literally got my results the day after I shipped it. From CA to OH, it was surprising!SneakPeak sends theirs USPS. I sent mine Saturday (CA to CA) and received email tracking. Got the results on that following Tuesday. For the results- Both SneakPeak and Peekaboo were correct, boy. Peekaboo sends your results as a PDF attachment so you can open the email without the big news showing. Sneak Peak emailed the results as normal so if it's a surprise, wait to open it.If this review was helpful let me know :)

Great price but not accurate!
I can’t deny that the price is great, but the test was not accurate for me! I took the test at 9 weeks and it said I was having a girl. I did a NIPT test at 10 weeks with my dr office and I got a boy result! So we was left slightly confused! Being a nurse, I figured maybe it was too early to detect! Although, the test says you can test as early as 7 weeks! Well we just had our 12th week ultrasound and it’s definitely a boy! My husband and I our finally glad to be able to start planning for our bundle of joy. Would I buy it again, no! I felt bad having my husband on a roller coaster since this is his first child. My only suggestion is take it later in pregnancy or just wait for an ultrasound!

Worth the money fast results
This test was Accurate & definitely worth the money. Results come in quickly after DNA was received. I got my results the same day within a few hours after them testing it. I took my test at 17weeks pregnant. My results came back a girl. I had genetic test results that came in a few days after peek-a-boo results...it also confirmed a girl. This test came with easy self explanatory instructions. The only issue that I had was trying to get enough blood out of my fingers to fill tube. But thank God I was able to fill it and send it off. I must admit that I have never been soo nervous to open a email for results lol. We were hoping for a girl & a girl was what we were blessed with. Thank you peekaboo for confirming this. I recommend this test to more women. Just make sure you follow instructions carefully. Register your test & Don't have any males or male pets around while taking test. your test should come back with accurate results.

Prefer Peekaboo
I did the Peekaboo and SneakPeak exactly one week apart; they both gave me the same result - girl! However, I would recommend the Peekaboo over the SneakPeek for a few reasons. Peekaboo allowed me to test at week 7 and had a faster turn around time from the time I sent out the sample to it arriving and getting the results email (despite them both having 2 day shipping). This was the case for both my friend and myself. She took the SneakPeek and I took the Peekaboo but I got my results sooner in the same time frame.I also appreciated being sent the results as an attachment with Peekaboo. I saw the gender straight from the email on SneakPeek and didn't get a chance to pause and get my spouse. I preferred the lancets from the Peekaboo package, but that was pretty minor. As far as order price, they're comparable (especially given the intermittent sales). But, SneakPeek charges extra for rush. Peekaboo sent my results the day the sample reached the lab with no extra charge. Overall Peekaboo offers, at baseline, an affordable, faster, reliable test.Full disclosure: I paid for both tests and wanted to know for my own knowledge. I was prompted to write my opinion, but I was not paid for this review. This is my honest experience.

Ask Aunt Martha because her guess is as good as this.
This is basically a 50/50 shot which is as good as Aunt Martha’s guess. We got our kit, cleaned everything, scrubbed our hands counters, kitchen, etc., and did the test. It came back that male DNA was detected and that “it’s a boy!” We bought a bunch of stuff and the dad was super excited because it’s their last baby. Went to 20 week ultrasound and “It’s a GIRL!” Now we will love the baby no matter what and we are thrilled she is healthy but this test is a waste of money. The test should say 5/1,000 parts were male DNA and the average parts per 1000 at this stage of pregnancy is ________? That way you would not be misleading people.

Kit was easy to follow and Results were accurate for me at 13 weeks!
It came earlier than expected date. All instructions came in the kit and was easy to follow. I struggled to get the blood and had to do two fingers but I made sure to fill it where it was instructed. I shipped back and got my results within the week. They email the results in a pdf so if you're having someone plan a gender reveal maybe put that person's email when registering OR like me, if you have self-control don't open the pdf and fwd the email to the person of your choice to look. My results were accurate and I took it at 13 weeks. I'm having a boy and was confirmed by doctor.
