I ordered this for filling spice jars. Our mix is a fine grained mix of spices, salt, and pepper.The machine arrived quickly and well packed in a wood crate. There were no instructions or manual and at first the machine didn’t work properly. However, I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful. All questions were answered within 24 hours. They sent me a setup and calibration manual which showed me how to walk through the speed settings and calibration successfully. I’m not sure why they don’t include that with the order and recommend they do.In any event, after about 20 minutes of adjusting and testing, the machine now works well and saves us a tremendous amount of production time. Note: accuracy is currently +/- 2 to 3 grams although I believe that with some more time calibrating the speed I could improve it.Overall I’m very happy with this machine and plan to order a smaller unit as well. The weight filling machine works well and does its job but did not come without issues. Mechanically and functionally it is (and was from the beginning) perfectly working, but for a machine in this price range, it has some issues I did not expect nor welcome.Upon unpacking and assembling (easy assembly, really) I noticed - the hard way - some very sharp edges on some of the accessories. A few bleeding cuts and then some filing and grinding later, it's resolved, but at that price, that should NOT be an issue.From a working standpoint, the machine is easy to assembly, setup, and work with. When filling the hopper, it's good practice to hold something under the fill chute, else it'll be good practice to clean up. After setting the weight, I started with the slow setting and it usually takes the machine about 2 to 3 discharges to calibrate the weight. I weigh the first few bags manually and it is very rare that the fill weight is more than 3 grams off. I use it exclusively for coffee beans and it does a great job.Also, Hanchens communication - while delayed at times, due to them being in China - is and has been excellent. Overall, short of the aforementioned issues, I am a very happy customer.
