This works really well! I ordered it some time ago but waited to write a review until I had a chance to get more familiar with it. I actually bought 2, one in white and another color. Easy to use and charge up.I'm a group fitness instructor and teach an Aqua Zumba class indoors. It's very hot and humid especially being next to the floor-to-ceiling window with the sun radiating through unless one is in the pool. I teach 'above the pool', on the ground surface so everyone can see follow me. The neck fan helps a great deal to avoid overheating. It fits comfortably around my neck. It has 3 settings. Highly recommend this! FYI. I'm laying back on the ground so I could get everyone in the pic. Lol!

I bought this fan that cools all the way around the neck , including the back, where my neck gets the hottest with my hair. Gently blows from the front up towards your face. Has 3 speeds. Quiet motor. You can actually hear around it. It did not catch in my hair, and as you can see in the pic, I do have long hair. I’m also from the Deep South, east TN, so this was used a lot this past summer ,and it still holds a charge and works great!! Would highly recommend to anyone to use for crowed events ( book signings) ,hot outdoor activities, or even for ppl suffering with menopausal symptoms or medication related hot flashes. It looks more like headphones and it’s not really obvious at first it’s a fan. I love it,and would highly recommend it!! Also, my hubby got one in black. He didn’t think he would use it but he absolutely did, mowing lawn, picnics, bbqs etc. The heat and humidity of the south is no joke! This little, fairly inexpensive fan, was a lifesaver!

This thing is a lifesaver when I'm cooking! And I like that it is colorful. The only downside is that I can't hear people talking to me if I set it above the lowest fan setting. So it isn't perfect, but it's pretty great and I'm happy with it. Oh, I used it all the time and it goes a long time on a single charge.

I bought these for me and my coworker because we walk on our lunch and last summer pretty hot some days. Not warm enough to try them yet but the power of the fan seems strong enough to help keep us cool. Very easy to use and seem to be comfortable around my neck. Not a bad price either. I did charge them when I got them and it took from 8 am till about Noonish but for maximum 16 hours of use that's not horrible.

Firstly, I'll say something I saw other reviews claim. This does not blow cold air. There is no cooling element in this. It just blows room temperature air. The evaporating moisture on your skin will cool you off though, but it's an important enough distinction that I wanted to address that first.Okay, on to my review. I LOVE this thing. I frequently donate platelets and often I would get hot during the process and pass out. I bought this and haven't had anything but perfect experiences. It keeps me cool the whole 1.5 hours I'm in the chair.I've not yet used it so long for the battery to run out, but the battery life allows me to use it for several hours even on full blast. ALSO, it works while charging, so if you were stationary next to a power outlet, you could have it going nonstop. And that also means that you can hook it up to a battery pack for even a longer mobile duration.The one thing about this is that it is a little loud (although I exclusively use it on the highest setting.) I don't mind this at all, but you might have to turn it down/off if someone is talking to you from a distance.But I've been raving about this thing to anyone who would listen, so I strongly recommend this.

I decided to buy order these at the last minute because my girlfriend and I were attending an outdoor sporting event. This was last month (June) in South Texas during an insane heat wave. The heat index that day was >110° so this was a perfect stress test. It did... ok. In the extreme heat I had to turn mine up to full speed to notice any meaningful cooling effect. This meant the unit getting pretty loud, but with all the hubbub around me nobody else said they could hear it. I personally didn't mind it, but I also have a fan constantly running in every room of my home purely for the ambient noise so I might be in the minority when it comes to the unit's noise not being annoying.Unfortunately, my unit ran out of battery before the event was over; I got maybe a little over two and a half hours on the highest setting (out of 3). My girlfriend had hers on the medium setting and hers lasted the entire 3-3.5 hours we were outside. I haven't experimented with it or anything but I'll bet it could go at least 6-7 hours on the lowest setting. The only problem is it barely feels like anything on low, so why bother?Thing is, this was like $20, and you really do get what you pay for. It did an ok job and I'll be glad to have it if I need to spend any more prolonged time outside during this miserable summer, but looking back I probably would've invested a little more on a more powerful unit. If Amazon had half stars I'd rate this a 3.5 but since I have to choose I'm gonna just give it a 3 because of the disappointing battery life.

OMG- with the HOT-AS-HELL weather coming soon, I finally remembered that these EXIST, read a few reviews, and I am SO HAPPY that I did, because last weekend was unseasonably HOT 🥵 🥵 HOT, and this saved my LIFE! Seriously- I have lupus with a clotting issue that’s triggered by several factors, hot weather being the main culprit- my blood starts to thicken , and it causes TIA’s- mini strokes! I LOVE THIS- it charged fast AND held up for 5 hours straight!!
