Great sound, Runs very warm
I installed two of the SR4.300 amps in my van. Each channel is driving one speaker off of a DSP 408. Sound is great. Used the Morrel Vitus 603 up front and some old but efficient tower speakers in the back. These amps are clean when I look at them with an oscilloscope. They do get very warm which is a concern for the life of the Electrolytic caps. Want to love them more but even at very modest volume they really get warm and if I have them hump'n it's hard to hold my hand on them for more than 5 seconds.

Tiny little thing with great sound
I'm an old guy and I've had most of my cars for years so I haven't installed a car stereo in a long time.I inherited my Dad's K1500 a few years ago and decided the sound system needed to be upgraded. After doing some research I found that the Audison amps were highly regarded so I picked this one for my truck.I bought this to pair with a set of Polk Audio DB 6502 DB+ Series component speakers in front (doors) and Infinity Reference REF-6432cfx 4"x6" OEM replacement speakers in the rear. (12" subwoofer amp is the Audison 1.500).These amps look good and deliver very nice, clear sound with abundant power.I like that they have the ability to sense the resistance of the speakers, which saves some time and trouble.Install was easy, connectors are robust except for the power-on wire, and the instructions which seem to be written in a way to reach people who speak any language, which means they're pretty much indecipherable to speakers of any language. For those two problematic and easily avoided design difficulties, I deduct one star. I always say that the people who design things should have to use them before product release and that definitely would have prevented these two stupid mistakes. For some obtuse reason, the connector for the power wire is tiny, flimsy and doesn't want to maintain a solid connection. If it's jiggled even a little bit the power connection opens and the amp shuts down. I eventually got it to seat well enough to stay connected but we'll see what happens long term. A nice feature of this connector is that it includes an output wire so you can daisy-chain remote power to another amp or other device. BUT the input wire is red, when the standard color is blue. The daisy-chain wire is blue, which confuses things. As to the instructions, the people at Audison tried to design instructions that not only are drawn with virtually indecipherable ideograms and almost no text, but the instructions include every amp in the line which makes finding specs and settings difficult. Some of the features, i.e. buttons and switches on the amp, have no explanation or instructions at all as to what they do or how to set them. Luckily I was able to find more information by searching online (but not, for some reason, on the Audison website). That's really annoying. I would have dinged Audison two stars except the performance is so good and that's what really counts, after all is said and done. One last nit to pick is that the cover plate for the buttons and switches attaches with two tiny screws that not only are easily lost but use a standard slotted screwdriver so it's easy to slip and scratch the finish on the amp (which I managed to avoid doing). Why this isn't hinged with some kind of snap closure or retained fixture is beyond me. Such an easy problem to avoid. Now that everything's dialed in, I'm loving the sound. Very tight, plenty of range and so far dynamic response is broad and distortion free.

Affordable and clean
I have several of these amps and they all deliver. They have clean power and are easy to set up. The small form factor allows them to fit behind my seat in my pickup. They perform better than other amps for double the cost.

Clean power
The class D technology is amazing. This small amp delivers powerful clean sound. It doesn't take up much space, nor does it run hot.
