Super bright...works great for brake lamps!
Works great for my harley brake light. READ ALL info from the mfg May not work as a blinker...search for specific application to purchase correct replacement. I like mine for my brake light and have 2 extras to keep in my tool bag on my bike.

Better than incandescents
I recently switched my motorcycle over from incandescent bulbs over to LEDs. I did this for a couple of reasons:1. LEDs are brighter, and I want all of the visibility I can get on a bike2. LEDs usually run cooler, which keeps the old plastic housings on my bike from warping any more than they already are3. LEDs draw less power, which should keep the voltage regulator and rectifier alive a bit longer (I hope)4. LEDs should, in theory, last a long time.I specifically looked for LED bulbs that mentioned brightness in the reviews and that had multiple LED chips/dies on the circuit board in a circular array. Individual LEDs tend to emit light in a very narrow cone so it's important to have lots of them pointing in different directions.I put these in and was immediately impressed with the brightness of my turn signals. They are brighter than my original incandescent bulbs and throw a bright beam of light out in a nice, wide pattern. They're visible from the side of the bike as well as the rear, which is exactly what I wanted.I was worried that the light from the LEDs would be bluish and have a weird color behind the amber turn signals of my bike, but no problems with that-- they shine a nice, vivid amber color and don't look weird at all.If you do this, you'll probably need a different flasher, otherwise the turn signals will blink at a much faster rate. I bought a solid state flasher which cured the "hyper blink" problem for me, though some people don't seem to mind it.So now my bike is visible from every direction and all the lights are nice and bright.

No go, go elsewhere
Wouldn't fit in factory socket. Broke 2 trying to put in and i had to modify my socket taking plastic off just to get it to work.

Exact replacement for old style auto bulbs
Light emitted is so much brighter that you can actually see the turn signals and brake lights on my 69 Mustang at dusk! Just twist out old bulbs and twist in the LED’s!

Not good for some applications
I needed a constant light and this lit up in stages, also it didn't quite fit correctly, I had to modify slightly. It's very bright and uses less power.
