Just what this forgetful woman needs to keep her daily meds/vitamins handy in purse, car, etc.
I take a number of vitamins & medications throughout the day to improve/support my overall health/wellness. Some of them need to be taken earlier in the day (so as not to interfere with my sleep); yet on busier mornings (at least 1-2 days a week), I'll often be on the road before I realize I've forgotten a dose. As for those I'm suppose to take midday, I'd forget them completely (7 days a week) if I didn't keep back-up doses handy!Enter these handy dandy little pill boxes...[+] convenient use :: I use these lil boxes to hold back-up pills pretty much anywhere I've realized I still needed to take them (yet found myself unable to return home to do so)--in my car, husband's truck, gym bag, and nightstand (for those mornings I sleep in, since I keep most of my AM pills downstairs to take with breakfast). I also keep a back-up box in my purse, but I don't always carry it with me (thus the reason for back-ups in both vehicles, etc.). [I have one wholly dedicated to the supplements for digestive support, which I keep in my purse.][+] adequate capacity (for my needs) :: Each box holds enough pills to give me at least 2 back-up doses of everything (in case I forget to refill it, at least I know I'm okay for two days!).[+] reasonable cost :: They're not too big of a hit to my wallet, even if they didn't end up working for me. (I bought two of the 3-packs, for $3.99 each set.)[+] secure closure :: I was worried about the boxes popping open easily as they got tossed & bumped around in my sometimes-too-full purse; yet after a month and a half of use, I can now say I'm 100% confident I won't find random pills at the bottom of it. I just make sure I hear/feel that satisfying little "snap!" that confirms it's fully closed.[-] finite holding capacity :: Obviously, the space within each pill box is limited. You cannot try to squeeze in *just one last pill* or overstuff them (I tried with the larger yellow pills on the left! [see pix]); they will pop open too easily if you push it. (This is not so much a negative, but just calling out they will not stay closed if you do this. I also imagine that straining the capacity may eventually weaken the hold of the "lock.")I rely on the larger day-by-day weekly pill organizers for daily home use and travel; but as far as daily (back-up) support goes, I can't count the number of times these pill boxes have allowed me to stay consistent with my meds & supplements.I highly recommend them (esp. if you're forgetful about stuff like this--like this ADD momma)!
