WORX WA4054.2 LeafPro Leaf Collection System Blower/Vac with up to a 5” Diameter Tube

The media could not be loaded. I am using a Husqvarna 128BV blower/vac. Love this machine; it is a beast. Video attached is an attempt to show use in real time. Managing the hose isn't too bad. I have a 96 gal wheeled garbage can I used for collection. The cloth end over the top of the garbage can just fit with some creativity that, after using it for three full tanks of fuel, worked flawlessly. See pictures. The sleeve would not fit over the lid hinges, hence, the creativity with the clamps. Once the clamps were on, the can lid remaining open acted as an anchor to hold the clamps. It never came lose and I was rolling the can around, pulling on the hose from time to time, and shaking the hose from time to time to dislodge leaves. The connection end to the blower/vac never came lose. There are two adapters that come with this product and with the H128BV I used, I did not need either. The stock end of the hose simply slipped over the blower end (see picture) and I locked it down. NOTE..... this product is NOT compatible with the Worx 40V 3 in 1 blower/vac/mulcher. I did not do sufficient research and purchased both only to learn this lesson. I assumed, and we know that that does and it certainly did in this case, with both products being from Worx, they were compatible. Shame on me and lesson learned.For my purposes, vacuuming leaves from a rock-lined sidewalk/driveway, this product saved me a ton of time and energy by not having to empty the shoulder bag every five minutes that comes with the Husqvarna. I did not try this on any other collection can/container. I wish I would have purchased this years ago. Time saver. Easy to use. Worked better than I had expected.

Overall, I really like this device, its nothing fancy, it does its job of getting the annoying leaf bag off your back or shoulder when mulching up leaves. This makes handling the leaf vacuum much easier and not as dusty because you can move away from the collection point (the garbage can) to get out of the dust cloud that would be around your head with the cloth bag hanging off of you. Also, it saves the time of having to make several trips to empty a smaller bag rather than a whole trash can, of course this depends on the size of the can you use, I used a 50 gal can. In the end it saved my back, shaved some time off the process (probably at least an hour) and I did not get so congested up with dust like normal conditions with the attached bag. I did have to replace the hose clamp they sent with a more traditional one, thier is meant to be hand tightened but its just not strong enough for extended use. A plain hose clamp from Home Depot or any auto parts store will take care of it though.

After having trouble using the mesh cover attachment on my large rectangular barrel, I went out and bought a 32 gallon round trash barrel. It worked great! The smaller barrel was easy for me to drag around behind me and was big enough to hold a substantial amount of mulched leaves. The smaller size also made it possible for me to empty the barrel into the paper leaf bags by myself (using a leaf chute). I’m very happy I found a solution that works for me. This makes vacuuming up leaves quicker and easier than using the collection bag as it deletes the need to constantly stop to empty the bag. Cover to go on barrel is large but didn’t secure well to my large rectangular bin on wheels. Cover kept coming off. Perhaps if my bin didn’t have a handle it would have worked better. My Worx mulcher works great but I would recommend wearing a mask and safety glasses as the fine particles do escape the cover and you are breathing them in or getting them on you. Lastly. I would like a longer hose. I am only 5’2” and still would have liked a longer reach with the hose. All in all I was impressed but need to try this in a different style barrel.

Works great for the leaves!

The idea of this product is very good. After a bit of fussing about, the mesh cover did fit on my trash tub very securely. Fitting all the pieces together was easy. The only part that is not yet working is fastening the hose onto the blower. I have made sure the clamp was very tight, but as soon as there was any pressure on it, it slipped off. I'll have to find another way to fasten it so that it stays put.
