on the full batteries, it runs on turbo for x minutes, then steps down to the next high level to run for additional xx minutes

Q: Does this light have low voltage protection to protect the batteries from overdischarging?

I measured this, and the answer is that this flashlight overdischarges the batterycells. My lab power supply indicates 13.2V as the point where the red LED switches on, That is 3.3V per cell, way too low! A Lithium Ion cell should not be discharged below 3.71V! That is at 15% of capacity. 20% would be ideal. I don’t know whether I can adjust this threshold point. I thinks it is unlikely something I could adjust, since I have no electronic documentation. I needed to ask the Shenzen manufacturer.

no, X45 is not rechargeable. You will need to charger to charge the batteries

It is the GEN II 18000 lumen one. Once a product enters into the Amazon catalog, it is not easy to change the description. Each time, we have to file an application for the Amazon catalog team to update the description. Often they don't do it right or complete. But all we have now are the updated GEN II 18000 version

Super bright!!

Acebeam X45 is very bright with awesome flood and nice throw. It’s a good size in the hand and not too heavy. Design and construction is top tier. Got the light in 2 days so I’m very happy.Don’t be afraid of the dark, let darkness be afraid of you!

Auch das neutralweiße Modell ist eine klare Empfehlung. Der Strahl ist "flutiger" als bei der kaltweißen Version, was kein Nachteil ist. Die Selbstblendung in nassem Gelände ist deutlich geringer als die Kaltweiße.Sehr schade, dass dieses Modell nicht mehr neu verkauft wird und es auch keine Fortsetzung mit 6 oder 8 LEDs gibt.

Very bright light, just have to experience it yourself

Great build quality, really bright its like daylight when it’s on turbo max, does not come with a charger but you can get them pretty cheap, overall I definitely recommend for any flashaholic

Not Great

Way to expensive for just what is in reality a standard flashlight. It was great the first couple of times but now seems to be losing its brightness. Does not come with the battery charger. You will need to purchase one of those as well.
