My son plays with this shark in the bath, it’s waterproof but it doesn’t float.

It doesn’t float, but it also doesn’t take on/in water. Our wee boy plays with his whale shark in the bath all the time, some of the paint has come off - but the whale shark lives a very busy life and goes on many adventures so a few scratches and some paint are expected. So yes, it can go in the bath happily and according to our four year old, it loves the bath!
