Peet's Coffee, Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - Espresso Forte 32 Ounce Bag

Peet's French Roast is my favorite coffee so far. I just received my order of two packages, but one was past its "best by" date. I got a refund for that one. The other package I just ground, and the the fresh coffee scent is excellent! Kind of a peanut buttery scent. This is a dark roast, but it is not oily. Perfectly roasted. I have ordered Peet's French Roast multiple times, and will definitely order again! The flavor is strong just how I like it (black).

This Peet's French roasted coffee is perfect if you like dark coffee, with intense flavor and zero acidity. The aroma when grinding it already wakes you up, and the taste is deep, almost chocolatey. Ideal for French press or drip coffee maker. Recommended if you like coffee with character!

Peet’s Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee delivers on taste, rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. The flavor holds up well in a latte and has enough character to still shine through the milk, which I appreciate. I’ve been able to do some decent latte art with it, though nothing spectacular.That said, I wasn’t able to achieve much crema, even after dialing in the grind and pressure. If you're chasing that golden, thick crema for your espresso shots, this might not hit the mark. Still, the taste more than makes up for it, and it’s a solid choice for everyday use.I would buy it again for the flavor alone.

This coffee has the best flavor! The beans are nice and oily, not dried out like some of the brands I've bought in the past. The flavor is nice and strong and tastes like coffee should taste. I like my coffee strong, bold and black and this is perfect

during prime day sales, i thought i'd try a few other "famous" commercial brands and blends beyond my usual comfort zone (of lavazza (red label) top class). i brewed this peet's up the same multi step french press way i always do, the results were a bland coffee with no offensive nor distinctive flavor notes. i honestly don't know what all the fuss is about here. so if you are loyal to this coffee, you may want to explore other options, as i found this coffee rather weak, boring and normally over priced.

Great flavor! One of my favorites now. I grind it for use in a French press. 1.2 oz for 20 oz of water. Love it.
