I notice everyone says front of the seat to back of the seat is 15", yet the product information says 18". Which is correct? 18 is too deep for me, bu

Mine is 15" if you measure just the top of the seat. If you wrap the tape measure around the front and back edges of the seat, it's more like 18". It's not a really deep chair.

I play classical guitar, and I need to play on a very short chair. What is the height at the lowest position?

15 inches at the front of the seat; 16.5 inches at the back of the seat

Adjustrite does produce "feet" for its chair. At the moment it is not available at Amazon. But it is available from Shar, and from Carriage House Violins and its partner company Johnson Strings.
