Hands down, the best Sardines ever. They are hand packed by a family run outfit that hasn't changed in over 100 years. Quality, Quality, Quality!!!! You pay a little extra, but it's worth every penny!!!

These sardines are probably the best commercially canned sardines you can buy.. Delicious. It's strange to have the sort of Christmassy flavor palate of the classic Nuri spices in tomato sauce rather than olive oil. I don't really like this level of aromatics in a tomato sauce, it strikes me as sort of odd. And even odder to have a soggy cucumber thrown in there. I get that it's the classic combo but it's clear why plain tomato and plain olive oil regularly command higher prices.
