Perfect for castings
I bought a box of this to mess around with making castings and instantly became obsessed because it is so easy and fun. Cures super fast and it's fun to play with, I like to spread it on different things to copy the pattern and put it in molds. Really fun hobby with satisfying results. I use 65:100 ratio of water to plaster, by weight. Creates super solid castings that I can't break with my bare hands even though they are only 1.5" thick. Works really well with acrylic enamel paint.

Awesome Value!
I use plaster of Paris for lots of art I create. This dries super fast and works perfect in molds! You just add as much water as you need for whatever it is you're making. There are SOOO MANY different ideas I have for using this stuff! Just be sure you know it is fragile after it dries, so you'll need to add paint or something else after it cures to make it more durable. The amount of product you receive is great for the price!

Yup it's plaster
It's plaster. It works. It's a box of plaster so be careful don't spill it or it goes everywhere. NOT saying that from experience or anything. Anyways does the job.

Used Plaster of Paris to anchor holiday tree in pot
I used to use floral foam and hot glue to anchor the small holiday trees in pots for decorating and it would pop out of the pot with repeated bending of the limbs etc to add decorations. I had done the plaster of Paris when I put my big Christmas tree in a terra cotta pot and it worked great so I thought why not do the little trees and it works beautifully. You can even color the plaster. So many crafty things you can do with it.

Easy To Use
I use this to patch holes in my walls and to fill any holes due to nails in my walls to hang pictures. This little bit goes a very long way, compared to what you can get at a hardware store
