It is a very very nice quality giill. Comes mostly assembled except for one shelf and the wheels.
The heavy cast iron grates really make this unit shine. While expensive at $350, I really like the quality. I also purchased an adapter so that I could hook up a 20# propane tank to it so I don't have to worry about 'running out'. I use it mostly (so far) for steaks and hamburgers. After heating it up for about 10 minutes (cover closed) I cook a steak or burgers four minutes per side (also with the cover closed). Very nice results. I purchase the best small gas grill I could find as I don't like the mess and whatnot with charcoal and wanted one that would give a good sear. it does. I don't use it for camping or tote it around at all, but keep it in my garage for grilling. By the way it does fold and move around easily, but I don't use that feature. The instructions that come with it are very complete and easy to understand. It was a present to myself. Although I am a family of two the way I use it it could easily handle a family of four or more as the total grill area is considerably larger than it looks from the pictures. Be sure to follow the instructions for seasoning the cast iron grills, it's not hard but really makes a nice grilling surface. PS: I had to wait sometime for delivery, three or four weeks as I remember as it must have 'been on the boat' when I ordered it. Designed in Canada and made in China to the Canadian specifications. I suppose for someone who wants a large unit with side burners and cabinet space etc., this would not be the unit for you.

Great little grill
Superb little grill. Get a 20lb tank adapter for home use, runs for several hours on the little tanks. Cooks far better than larger big brand grills.

Good, but depends on what your needs are
I’ve had this grill for a month now and have used it maybe 8+ times. I like to cook outside so my house doesn’t get as hot inside. This fits my criteria:1. Portable: I previously had a Weber grill that I kept outside and it lasted for years but it could have lasted longer out of the elements (and worked better) if I stored it in my garage. Unfortunately, it was too much of a hassle to move off my deck. I also didn’t like keeping it outside for aesthetic reasons. This Napoleon TravelQ 285 stays in my garage out of the elements, but it’s easy to move around and store. I haven’t used it for grilling away from my house but it should fit in my car (hatchback).2. Indirect cooking: My previous Weber had two burners but they were arranged in long strips. It was hard to fit food on the grill to cook with indirect heat. The Napoleon has left side and right side burners and I can fit 4 steaks or a large salmon filet and finish with indirect heat.Other things I like:1. Cast iron grates—sear better than my Weber (ceramic coated?) grates.2. Can use small or large propane tanks3. Not too hard to clean (for a grill)4. I haven’t had flare ups like with my Weber, but it’s hotter. I really like that. Here’s what’s not so great about it:1. It doesn’t get as hot as I’d like, but neither did my Weber. It’s good enough, but I take a star off for that. It could be a design constraint.2. It doesn’t come with a hose to connect the larger propane tanks so that is an added expense.Other things to consider:1. I don’t think this will stand up too well if it’s kept outside all the time. I’m in the northeast United States so if you live somewhere drier maybe this won’t be an issue. Even with a cover my Weber degraded.2. I think it requires more upkeep. The cast iron grates need to be seasoned and taken care of. I’ll most likely store the grates in my kitchen during winter.3. Empty/clean the drip pan before folding it up. After lessons learned with my Weber I take the time to keep my grill clean. It’s kind of a hassle but I think it will last longer and work better over a long period of time.4. Other reviews noted that there was no “griddle” included. It’s not something I needed but I can confirm it wasn’t included.

Solid. “Small” BBQ can cook at 400 degrees with only one burner on (indirect cooking)
I live in a condo so space is at a premium. This replaced a Fuego element that fell apart over time (not happy with that one). This “little” bbq has two burners. I can blast one and leave the other off and it will reach about 400 (maxes out there) allowing me to cook over the burner that’s off. Bottom line; small bbq that you can cook with indirect heat and it’s built very well. (It also folds up nicely but I don’t fold it up). I have the cover which I put on when not in use, and it’s held up nicely outside over the past three plus years of use. If you need to go small, this is the one to get.

Good grill
Well built… it’s a little heavy. Not real easy to set up and fold but manageable. Heats quickly and evenly. Gets plenty hot enough. Made well a little more pricier than the competition.

Second Grill I have purchased from Napoleon
My wife has been asking me to show her how to grill, but she didn't want to use our Big Green Egg. So, I purchased this and it's the best thing I have gotten my wife EVER. Very easy to operate and keep a constant temperature. Taught her and our daughter how to hook up the propane and get the grill heated up and how to control the temperature. That night, my daughter and wife learned how to cook hamburgers and that's all she wrote. My wife and daughter are now cooking pork, chicken, and steak. My daughter went off to college this year and when I saw this grill pop up on sale I found a great birthday gift for her at the house she is living in. Also, the grease drip pan is great just remember to empty it out so it doesn't overflow. All in all this grill is hands down worth every dollar I have spent on a propane grill. Another plus, it ready to go out of the box and it folds up to store with very little footprint.

Great grill!
Item arrived in great shape, easy to assemble, works perfectly! Is heavy duty yet light enough to wheel around and store. Would buy again and definitely recommend this grill!

❤️ this grill!
This is by far the best portable grill I’ve ever had—-and I’ve had a bunch. It’s rock solid, easy to use, heats up fast, folds up and unfolds with ease and the cart is rugged enough to go off-roading.This grill and I will be having lots of meals together for years to come.
