Beduan Mini Ball Valve Stainless Steel(316) 1/2" NPT Male x NPT Female Shut-Off Valve

This is a quality valve that will far outlast the “copper” cough cough fittings aftermarket valves. Very pleased.

I wanted to replace my old, crappy twist shutoff valves under my kitchen sink as well as add shut off valves to my shower lines (hot water kept eating the rubber seals.) Ball valves are so much more reliable and easy to use. Sadly, this one is a piece of junk. While it did cut off the water supply, the cheap feel of it left me uneasy and I decided to go to the local hardware store and buy a better one. I just didn't trust it. The handle felt loose and the lack of stop positions (you could simply spin the handle around for infinity without ever being sure it was in the full shutoff position) was a bad design choice and not what I wanted. I may eventually stick this on my cold shower line where it isn't quite so important.

Ease of installation to stop a shower drip

Be sure to use white thread tape to seal the threads. Use enough to make it a little tight to connect by hand. Otherwise, it will drip every 5 seconds.

Large handle easy for mom to shut off.

I got this for the water drain on my camper. Very easy to turn, no little cap to go missing.

OK valve. But the shut-off is not reliable. the valve doesn't "stop" at the off point, but continue around until it runs again. Making it very unreliable to shut off the water.

I purchased these to replace the drain plugs on my camper. Works perfect & love the longer throw handles!
