Clean all the things
Works great for for any project. Cleaned gunk off carbs easily. Only 2 downsides. It very loud, and 2 for me should have went for the size larger.

Right Size, Right Price
I purchased this to clean bicycle chains 2-3 times a month. I was interested in a relatively small volume cleaner with an internal heater. I've only used it a couple of times so longevity is still to be determined, but it has done a great job. The integral heating element was able to achieve 170F from 120F in few minutes and the ultrasonic vibrations cleaned the chain thoroughly. If it turns out to be reliable, I'll probably purchase a second one to dedicate to waxing my chains.

Pretty great, but I wish I had gone bigger.
Get at least one size bigger than what you think you will need. I bought a 6 liter machine for cleaning bike parts, but it is not big enough. When I clean mountain bike cassettes with very large gears, only a bout 3/4ths of it will be submerged. I'm also pretty sure 6 liters would overflow the tank. For actual use, you can put about 4 liters of liquid in it and still have room for a few parts. If you are cleaning small items, I recommend filling the tank with straight water and putting your part in a sealed glass jar with degreaser. It works really well, my only complaint is the drain hose. The plastic barb leaks and the flimsy hose kinks. I will replace it with a brass barb and a short piece of automotive heater hose. The buzzing noise is not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be, I am capable of tuning it out.

Perfect for small carburetors
Bought this to clean old VW carburetors and it works great! Cleans the carbs better than ever and has the brass pieces looking like new! The 3L isn't big enough to do the top and bottom of a disassembled carb at one time but the trade off is worth it for a smaller footprint and less cleaning solution. I used Berryman carb cleaner that comes in a gallon and the cleaner used about 3/4 of the gallon. The little screen basket it comes with is perfect for the jets and other small pieces.

It works.
I got mine yesterday, 07/25/2023, and it works fine. I bought it to clean my bike chain only because I used to use Kerosene to do it and it smells bad and it is toxic so I decided to try an ultrasonic machine to eliminate that kerosine of my chain cleaning equation. It works fine. Chain comes out clean enough for me. It is not intuitive to use, example: there are TWO on/off buttons on the front panel, why?????? I pressed one only and it did not started, then I pressed both and it started!!!! Why two on/off buttons????? I used the machined 4 times because if you use the basket that is included, it does not do a good job. Just don't used that basket. Put your stuff in the machine without the basket ant it will do a good job cleaning it. Max temperature is 80 degrees Celsius only. I needed more than that. I needed at least something close to 100 degrees Celsius and that is why I had to used the machine 4 times to get that chain clean enough. I wax my chain and very hot water is needed to melt the old wax mixed with dirt from past rides. Just set it up to 15 minutes and 80 degrees Celsius and used it twice to get a good cleaning of the chain (put hot water from the tap inside it to begin with), it helps a lot). Otherwise, it works great! I hope it does not stop working suddenly as it happened to some people who reported it. I will let you know if its happens. In a nutshell, It works great, not awesome cleaning, but good enough! For the price I paid, it is a good deal. To finalize I would recommend you to read the instructions carefully because it tells you what NOT to do in order to NOT break it yourself. You can not drain the water immediately after it is finished cleaning for example, you can not turn it on and put water after it and so on... Just don't do what they tell you not to and the machine will last I think... Thanks and have a nice day!

Heater not working right out of the box.
Works as advertised. The feet for the basket included was welded wrong, one side barely hanging on so the basket won't stand straight. Heater, ultrasonic, timer work fine. Wish the temperature had option for displaying in fahrenheit and not just Celsius.

This thing is powerful!
This is my first ultrasonic cleaner and I'm glad I didn't buy a smaller one. I actually got it with the intent to clean some fuel injectors but haven't gotten to that yet. It is big enough to clean connecting rods and probably push rods. Longer items you will need to clean one end and then flip them. So far I have cleaned some 300k+ mile spark plug heat shields, spark plugs, spark plug wires, some pocket knives and a toaster oven tray that had some serious baked on stuff. I really didn't think it would clean the toaster oven tray because I had been scrubbing it with a really abrasive pad with little success, but after two cycles what was left brushed off easily with a nylon bristle brush. I have only tried DEP degreaser in it, it's what I had around already and it worked well. I am sound sensitive and the sound is quite intense at first, but even I can be around and it and get used to it pretty quick. I wouldn't call it loud, just sort of angry like bees. The temperature control is easy to operate but not visually intuitive at first glance. Look closely at the labeling under the numbers to figure it out. The two left numbers are the set temperature in Celsius and the right two numbers are the actual temperature in Celsius. We use Fahrenheit here so I'll have to sort of figure out some basic conversion if I try to clean anything that would be temperature sensitive. I would buy it again, for sure. It has saved me quite a lot of time/money already with the spark plugs, the spark plug shields, the spark plug wires, the toaster oven tray and my pocket knives open much easier without having to lube them. I'll be really happy with it if it lasts a while.
